Anybody happen to know which episode rated highest in the ratings?

I loved parts of it - GD2, PotTR, Poppin' Tags and Rashomama to name a few. But there also have been absolutely boring epidsodes this season, some of which I do not even remember the titles.

There has been too little Greg and Warrick, thans to the swelling of the cast. I am mostly a Nick-fan but damnit - I miss Greg and Warrick.

If this goes on in S7 I for one will be paying close attention to the previews and will happily skip any ep where Griss (I didn't miss him at all this season) and Sara are playing the major parts. I love Sara and I miss the intelligent woman I figured her to be.

Cath has not been too visible either, I miss the S5 Cath, the sassy, humane female who won't take any crap.

Am I the only one that feel the characters have evolved (or rather regressed) to something that I have a hard time recognizing?

I agree with you, I missed a lot all the Warrick storyline, and Greg also... It seems that all the actors were involved in something else(except for Nick who had a great screen time compared to other), and so they were on the show just because they were hired in the serie... We need to go back to the old school CSI and go back to when we really felt for the characters :)

I do hope next season will be good, and you know what?
I do hope next season will be the last one... I have the feeling CSI Vegas is coming to an end, I dont want the show to go on forever if its to be bad... Id rather have a nice end, like they are actually doing for Alias, and be happy to remember a globally great show :)

i dont think i really like how greg has been maturing... he was so hot when he was hyper all the time! now he's almost boaring... but still cute. And your right, they need to put greg, warrick and sara and a little bit more cath. in more episodes. I mean nick got buried under ground, his car got stolen, and girlfriend was killed in episode 'boom' AWW! poor baby! I sooooo do hope that next season will be better!

I didn't expect -and didn't want, this season to be like the first one -as much as I liked old school CSI.
As you said, characters have evolved, and that definitely works for me. That's what was bound to happen. No evolution would have been pretty boring.
I like the way things developped throughout the years.

I liked this season as much as I liked the first five.
And I do hope that season 7 won't be the last one ;)

I honestly can't think of one bad episode. I'm a very satisfied fan ;) and proud of it.

This season had it all: humor, gripping storylines, beautiful cinematography -as usual, character development ...

CSI still rocks my world :D

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

I study people for a living and it seems that Grissom cant consumate a relationship with an equal, but rather he picks someone in an ancilary position and in close proximity. It would great if Lady Heather gets between Grissom and Sara because he and Sara are too much alike. Lady Heather unlocks Grissom and releases the passion that he denies himself. Sara and Grissom's relationship is pretty sterile and purfunctory in my opinion. Actually, there needs to be another strong, attractive, intellegent and passionate woman in an equal power position to throw Grissom off balance.
Nick and Greg need a love interest or something to get them more three dimensional. The kidnapping and explosion were good starts. Warwick needs to experience the ups-and downs of his past addiction and current demanding job in his marriage. The casino scene a few episodes back was a good begining.
I like the lighter tone of the cast this season, and I hope it continues next season as well, mixed with everything else. Its like they come to work to get away from what is going on in their lives, but they need to keep bumping up with it. Catherine needs to investigate the murder of Sam Braun (to continue the theme of abandonment in her life)and discover the guilt of his past, but have that rub up against her daughter's and mom's romanticized vision of him.
Mortician Doc needs a third dimension, like being a victim of a case rather than the the teacher of Jr. Mortician dude. make Jr. Morticican Dude have to fill in for his teacher while Doc has to be in the case with Brass and so CSI folks. Why havent the mortiucians gotten into trouble like the CSI team with superiors? Quincey MCE did all of the time. Maybe not as comical, but put some meat on Sr Doc's character. How about the team have to attend a funeral and have flash-backs to issues made in pilot, but reflect how they have grown.

Just my two cents :>

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

As much as I love CSI I have been greatly dissapointed this season. I agree that Grissom needs a strong woman so if not Lady Heather then they should create a new character that would only be in a couple of episodes. He does need a girlfriend that is as smart as he is but she needs to be more out there in the real world than Grissom to spark some life into him. I don't think the Sarah thing will work she is to screwed up to be in any relationship and she is way to young.

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

An Idea:

I just want you all to know that I have written the creators/writers of CSI about Eric/Greg's lack of screen time -amoung other things. I don't know if it will do any good but it certainly can't hurt. Please if you write as well, be polite. Here is the address if anyone wants to join me in writing. The more letters they get the better. You don't have to write about Greg, you can write about anything that bothers you about season 6, and hopes for season 7.

This is my letter which I wrote:

If you want to contact any of the people involved in creating CSI you should write to:

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

Ya know, I think that if they ended CSI after S7, I'd be pretty much satisfied. Alias is ending on a good note, and (sorry, but to quote the promos) it is going out with a bang.
Back on subject - I started watching S6 practically in the middle (first new one I saw was Werewolves), and then started watching the reruns on Spike . . . so, yeah, I think that they have in a way regressed.
Even with all the complaining I've been doing about the GSR ending of "Way To Go", I think I'd even be satisfied with GSR in the rest of the show.

I was very unhappy with the final episode. It didn't relate back to the first part and didn't relate at all to the picture you had us study for clues. I found clues, but they obviously meant nothing. What was on Nick's neck, what was the book in Grissoms pocket? G & G =?, writien on the stool, well, I guess we know that one now. When they showed them together, I thought it was Brass's dying vision - because certainly Grissom would never wear that shirt. I think that was such a mistake, the tension was better, it always ruins the show when the two "almost lovers" get together. You better get the writers on track - you are going up against a GREAT show next season. This season was not your best and the finale was really bad....you can't rest on the fact that women are nuts about Nick & Warrick and we would all love to be the one to knock Grissom sideways, crank up the tension!

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

I actually think season three was way more uneven compared to this season. Neither of them are among the best but I got the impression in this season they were trying to change things up storywise (as in, the way they were told) while season three seemed like they got to comfortable in their formula and didn't try anything new. There were a few great episodes in both seasons but I think overall season three was more disappointing.

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

I think they should offset the season by offset I mean sort of like they did with "Rashomama", mix in some light hearted kind of making fun of themselves with the regular way they do things.

I think in some respects by adding the light/fun part of the show maybe then real courtrooms won't expect csi style of evidence, and in the mean time, we get to have the drama and the laughter. Either by episode or during an episode.

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

I really want to know what they are going to do about the whole GSR thing, b/c in an interview on 'The Early Show' one of the actors (Can't remember, it slipped my mind) suggests that Grissom and Sara have been 'dating' for a while now, I also hope that Greg, Warrick and Cath get more screen time. :)

PS: S6 was really really angsty , especially with the whole Nick and Kelly Gorden fiasco .

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

I felt season 6 got off to a good start but something happened along the way. Then bang bang was really good I was excited, but then again way to go was flat. I really hope season 7 gets back to the way it was before.

I totally agree...i loved rashomama but then way to go was very disapointing...

Also, your letter to the writters of CSI was great Wojo!! they should really listen to you.

Re: S6 - the most uneven seasons of all? S7 - speculations.

I think one of the problems with season 6 was the way season 5 ended. GD was so utterly out there, how do you follow up to something like that? I know for me personally I had problems getting into the season early on because I had GD on the brain. A lot of the episodes initially felt flat after the emotional rush of the finale, I kept expecting more. Looking back on the episode list now, I think season 6, overall, was much stronger than season 5.

I also think season 6 brought some of the best episodes of the series (Gum Drops, Rashomama, and to a certain extent ABRTI), some interesting experimentation in the 'formula' and excellent character moments. There isn’t an episode of this season that I wouldn’t watch again, unlike many episodes of last season, which I found to be kind of dull (Committed, Hollywood Brass, Weeping Willows and Snakes).

There are a few things that I didn’t really like (the whole tape nonsense, Warrick’s marriage that served no purpose, so little Vartann, so little Warrick….) but overall I’ve enjoyed season 6 and I’m definitely looking forward to season 7.
