I think the lifetime of this ship rests on how many more scenes they give us, because Ryan does this a lot. You know, his foot makes its way into his mouth and he embarrasses himself in front of the pretty girl (remember when he he said to Calleigh, "So you're large and in charge, and by large, I mean in terms of your reputation..."). So it could be just the way he is, but I definitely think he and Sam are a lot cuter than, say, him and Calleigh.

Caro, if I can't have Ryan/Valera, I'll settle for this, and you should too! The more the merrier! Besides, Ryan/Calleigh and Ryan/Natalia make me a little constipated.

Re ship names: I suggested a new thread title for the EC thread last night, so I'm all out of creativity for the week. Someone else think of one that doesn't combine both their names (not that we have much to work with in that department anyway).

I actually like "Upgrade." Maybe give it a couple more episodes to see if they have anything else we could work with. I mean, hip huggers only came up in Simple Man.

Hello. Jodi finally made it on here. Another hiphugger to add to the collection.

I think these too have potential. They are cute and there is definatly a bit of chemistry there.

But I want nerdy Ryan back first, no the new one who flirts with all the lab techs.

I do believe I saw a little flicker w/ these two!! I like Ryan, even though at times he is a total turd. Sam "the air hockey queen"...at least he had her smiling, thats about all I can say for her right now. But I could really get into them if the writers play it out right. They make a very cute couple.

How about SamuRy....like Samurai or RAM...that one puts the naughty in my head...eeshk, see ya.

Working ship name: RAM Upgrade

Like, you know, computer RAM upgrade, since she's an A/V lab tech and deals with that kinda stuff, but also Ryan+Sam=Ram and upgrade is pretty much the first thing he says to her. And yeah, the suggestive part of "ram" too. ;)

Yes for RAM Upgrade, it's really perfect for them! And yea, somethingsdont , Ryan/Calleigh and Ryan/Natalia makes my stomach twist a little bit, esp Ryan/Calleigh *there's no smiley for the twisting stomach feeling* :(

Hmm I thought about RAM too not even thinking of it's possible indications though :devil:. Upgrade is also nice name too. Their shippers would be called 'Upgraders' like we're called hiphuggers.

I like RAM Upgrade. Hopefully the writers would give us enough screentime with these two so we know more how they interact :) They're cute and since Ryan seems to be the baby of the family (and Alexx's adopted child) he jives well with Sam. I don't mind being a RAM Upgrader :D

It's one of those ships that's just for fun, you know? Comedic relief. We're probably gonna see more Ryan in the next few episodes to make up for the lack of Ryan in the first few, and personally, I've got my fingers crossed for a little more interaction.

I hope he's back to the whole shy thing. Like saying riciculous things to her that would embarass anyone else but he's too nerdy to notice.

And she thinks it's sweet. ;)

Ryan has never had any luck w/ the ladies...he often reminds me of some horny teenage virgin. I'd love to see them hang out or even just for some fun "flirtiness". She looks like she might be able to lighten him up some!!! Let's hope.

i love the name RAM Upgrader for them it fits them perfect. i hope in as the season goes they get more screen time. and who ever said this Ryan/Calleigh and Ryan/Natalia makes my stomach twist a little bit, esp Ryan/Calleigh it does me to i didn't want Ryan with them so i am glad they brought someone new in
