Actually when I first found out (of course as always I get news few months later) I was like "what the ***BEEP*** was that for!!!" I nearly dropped out of that library chair and started to demolish it. I was extremely curious and of course wanted to know all till the tiniest detail. I guess I shouldda became a cop.
 
Btw if you've read my ff Broken Memories (the one with long title which I had to shorten) you'll find a hint to that. But ok I'll shut up for this and forget about the other ff that popped up within the topic.

I know you all like to talk Ryan-sexiness in here ;), but does anyone have anything specific they'd like to see in Ryan in the premiere?
We've seen a number of "near-death's" on this show but I've never felt it did much for Ryan, unfortunatly. I'm hoping that since this is Horatio & Natalia, we'll see it effect Ryan in a more personal way.
 
I would like for Ryan (fueled by anger )to have a big part in the case,the solving and capturing etc.Of course I know it will more likely be H and Eric, but I'm willing to be shocked by the writers doing something unexpected.

Oh for sure I want to see smth big about Ryan. My idea was (I think mentioned it somewhere) that Ryan gets a lead role. Since H is shot he gets team leader role and solves the case (after saving Nat & H). But I can't be too wishful, not sure tptb actually takes our ideas too serious (oh yeah I sent that idea in my feedback/s).
 
Well when I read a book in English for the first time (screw the teacher and grammar) and without a dictionary (which made my classmate wonder though she said she knows English very good due to visiting brother in NY), and adding the amount of ff's I've read I decided to try. The first really came out long (book alike count of chapters).
Dunno if they're like books (that's up to readers) but I for sure want to write one (if I get lucky enough), maybe one really awesome Ryan-centred CSI Miami book (I currently on hunt for one NY's though).
Btw I'm working on two at moment. One's that rised from a dream (still can't decide who's gonna be the running guy) other from NY's episode. I'm going to finish other one, one xover and two re-done (didn't like the start, now seeing nearly half of s9 I needed to change my original idea). I wanna make Ryan in-character (doubt I can do that anyways though).
 
What country are you from, BDS? I understand how learning a different language can be a challenge...but you're doing well! :)

I used to write some fanfics. I started one a couple years ago promising an update...but....um..... :p I did finish one of them though.(not including the one shots) I re-read it a couple weeks ago and cringed. It was....goofy to say the least....

Anyway, for season 10 (once I catch up and get there after my own lil hiatus) I'd like to see more background info on Ryan. That's something I'll always want lol......I saw a youtube video of Ryan's best season 8 moments or something and I noticed he used a Yiddish word.....sooo..... I guess the writers decided to make Ryan Jewish....which makes sense of course, bc Togo himself is (or was, idk) and looks like it. THAT could set up some sort of storyline...

They've had him on the show much longer than Speed ever was. I think it's time to learn who the heck Ryan is. Or maybe they have and I haven't gotten there yet.... ha! :rolleyes:

I liked that we learned that little tidbit about Ryan.
We saw a little more towards the end of the season,for instance Ryan golfs. We also got a quick look of his home,neat of course.
I hope we see a little more for season 10.
