As I have said a million times, I really don't think TPTB are cruel enough to kill them off, and leave us with THAT image as the last we see of them! AND also, look at the facts, every other major character gets a story arch before dying, why would they treat these characters any different? It would be wrong, IMO. And add to that the fact that if there were a contract dispute we'd know it. (I would think) we always do! Like we knew about Vegas, and we know about NCIS (for those who watch it)!

That being said, HONESTLY don't think Jon is going anywhere! He's to HAPPY and excited on all those interviews. (Plus on one, as my friend gooniegirl pointed out to me, he keeps saying "we" -like he knows he's a part of the cast still- referring to season 9!) He will be back! I feel 99.9 percent positive, but I must admit, his name on that list (even though I knew it'd be there...) IS KILLING ME! ARG! I don't like it one bit. *pouts* I want my Wolfe very much alive, up and running, jumping fences and diving into pools in white pants and tight tshirts.... and... then I want....

I also think Jon will return. When I saw Ausiello's list a few days ago,and counted up the remaining spaces,I correctly figured Ryan,Nat,Jesse,Walter and Calleigh.(I'm sure one or two of the remaining spaces are from NY) I think the writers and producers are going too far out of their way to make us think someone won't get up. The actors in the behind the scenes videos seem too calm and happy for not knowing their fate. I'm thinking they may not know how they are injured from whatever took them out,but nobody dies.Perhaps one of them has nerve damage from whatever it was, or they actually hurt themselves by the actual fall,so it impacts on their work.If someone dies,I think it may be a tech or someone we aren't familar with.

That's how I feel too!! After all this is CSI:M; they do a pretty good job of overhyping things.

Well admittedly, I think you mentioned something about an article that mentions us finding out more about Ryan as well as Walter next season. There is a copy of the producer's blog from CBS on the spoiler thread with this paragraph:

"And as far as what will happen to Horatio, Delko, Calleigh and the rest of the squad, Marc also relayed that, “Audiences can still look forward to seeing how we resurrect our fallen CSIs in Season 9. Will everyone survive? Tune in Sunday nights to find out!”

It still could mean that a CSI doesn't get up. It also asks will everyone survive and that could also include the others in the lab.

Kristine is her review of Time Bomb said that she is looking forward to more of Walter and Ryan's relationship next season. Plus as you stated they are a little too cheerful for a bunch who doesn't know if they will have a job next fall. Actors do play it up and really haven't heard any of them say a CSI dies, but someone dies, so it could have been an extra in the hall.

I know none of it is definitive but sometimes the little things can add up.

I've already said what I think about Jon coming back. :D

The episode was awesome though, Ryan, oh em gee. :drool: Hotter every episode, yes! Too bad we have to wait until September to see him again. xD

Of course Jon is coming back! Who do you think is attracting their precious 18-49 category in the ratings--I don't think it is Horatio! If you have kept up with all the interviews on the DVD's throughout the years, you would know that the producers/writers are totally committed to their lead characters and would never let them go that way. When Rory left, it was because he wanted to go and everyone on the set was so sad. They didn't want Adam to go either and were willing to bring him back in a heartbeat. Jon is totally adored on set, that is obvious, and they would go over backwards to keep him if there ever were contract issues, and Jon has already indicated he wants to stay. Besides Ryan is a totally open book, there are so many areas of his characer to explore. Of all the characters, Eric has been explored the most, and the writers are still enthusiastic for him, so why not Ryan.
 
Im going to think positively, and say that I think Ryan will be coming back. I agree with all the above statements- he still wants to stay, his character still has lots aof potential, we hardly know anything about him still, so his charcter has definitely not run its course. He is popular with fans.
And I think it was GNRF who wrote that if he was going they would have probably tied him into the Stetler story and had him go then. So he gets through all that and dies anyway? I agree that when Jon wants to go, or tptb decide they can do no more with the character that they will do some big story arc for him that involves him being in trouble! They obviously like him doing that kind of scene, so to have him go this way would be a waste.
 
Yea, Solitaire (and GNRF), I definitely agree with that. :lol: I'd bet money that before Ryan goes anywhere, he gets another storyline where he's in trouble. And it does make sense that if he was going to leave, they should've done it during Time Bomb.

I'm not sure if I read it in here or in the All Fall Down thread, but I think someone said something about it probably just being Calleigh again. She has health issues as much as Ryan gets in trouble, so I could see it. Especially with how they had Eric holding her at the end of the episode. (Still don't believe she'd die though. Probably just be in the hospital again and be fine by the next episode.)

Sorry, that should probably go in the All Fall Down or Spoiler Lab threads but... I like it in here. :lol:
 
I honestly feel that Ryan is safe. I'm not even sure why, I just do.
I guess it's because, to me, a healthy man dying from poison (a poison that infects the entire lab) just wouldn't make any sense. It'd be different if he was the only one involved with the poisoning, then I'd worry.
But there are physically small women effected, unhealthy women (Calleigh), many other people who've come into contact with this poison.....seems a little ridiculous to imagine that he, of all those people effected, would be the one who didn't make it. I'm just not getting the vibe that he's a gonner. In addition, Togo was a little too cheerful in that BTS interview talking about the characters future -- it reminded me of season 4 when he said he sent fruit baskets to all the head-honchos so that they wouldn't make him the mole. :lol:
 
Fruit baskets?! Yeah, he did seem very upbeat. I loved the interview where he said maybe the letters were drugged, and it all turned out to be H just tripping! I love his interviews.
Ryan never has any ill effects from being in frequent fires and explosions, so alittle poison isnt going to stop him!
 
LOL! Nothing stops Ryan. He just gets back up, and carries on. I agree with all of you, and the fruit basket thing is hilarious! I also remember that, as well as them telling us 'who ever the mole is, is a goner!' Was so not true!!!

His Royal Hotness will be JUST fine! ;)

Thanks for posting this! I think I've seen it before, because it looks like an interview that took place a while ago. The part about his mother calling him was ADORABLE!! Ha! I agree Jon's mother, I did not like that nail sticking out of his eye either! :lol:

I had seen this before too but you can never see Jon's video's too many times. I also agree with his mother.
Jon also asked if he could wear an eye patch like a pirate but was told no,LOL.
 
hmm i was thinking for bit and realised that the real CSI:Miami superman is not Horatio but it's RYAN :D

he survives all fires and explosions and i believe he'll survive that poison (or whatever it was) yeee :)
he's the king :D

RYAN IS THE BOSS :D
