I'll be watching tonight but I don't think WISC will be any easier for me to see the second time around. One thing I won't do is go to the CBS site after this episode airs. There where way too many negative comments about Ryan.I've decided a lot of the posters on that site aren't as enlightened as we are. Some of them obviously don't know what a great character is.
It's not too hard to watch, at least he doesn't get killed. *cries for Speed* But I'm unhappy about the negative comments I read after it aired. Ryan did what he had to do and if any other character would have done it that would have been fine. But poor Ryan can't win!
You are right,he doesn't get killed.I just hated to see him getting tortured, and I hated the way it ended with Eric and Calleigh even though it apparently is fine now.I found the Ryan,Eric and Calleigh intereaction harder than the torture itself.
wisc is my favorite s7 episode. Too bad Ryan never got the chance to explain why he did what he did. I felt so bad for him
It was also kinda sad that they hadn't even noticed he was kidnapped...
I agree with you, greatfan. I probably won't watch it tonight cause I don't usually watch the repeats unless I missed an ep. Plus I pre-ordered the season set, so I'll probably wait until then. I don't like seeing Ryan hurt or especially bloody.
I pre-ordered too.I hope there are commentaries for some episodes, especially WISC.
ellay, even though WISC is hard for me to watch,it is a favorite because Jonathan was so great in it.

It was pathetically sad that they didn't notice. Calleigh or Delko are missing for a few seconds and they go nuts but Ryan, nah, they don't seem to care. It irritates me! And they couldn't tell something was wrong? Calleigh asked but why didn't she push it if she really cared? Ok, so this whole episode gets me irritated with the rest of the team.

I think Horatio was a little concerned. When he told Eric to call Ryan and Eric said he wasn't answering... there was something in the way Horatio said "call him again" that to me sounded like he was bugged by the fact that Eric thought calling him once was enough. I'm sure Natalia would have been concerned if she'd known about it, but alas they didn't even show her reaction. But Cal and Eric just had other things going on at the time.
If the rumors are true and Adam is leaving this season, I hope that before he goes, the writers have a scene between Eric and Ryan where they kind of bond a little. Maybe Ryan explaining about the events of WISC and Eric telling him he knows what he means now with the case in Seeing Red. And maybe possibly Eric even saying he'd wish he'd handled things differently and Ryan saying he wished he'd confided in him. I think that would be nice.

We never really found out if that is how Horatio felt.Unfortunately, the story had holes big enough to drive a truck through.
I like the ideas you have listed under the spoiler bar too,but I doubt the idea would ever occur to the writers.
