^ I never thought they were the same guy.I did however think they were both really drool worthy cute, and they both remain drool worthy cute.
Haha, that'd be Greg you're talking about from Vegas. They kinda sorta a teeny bit look alike. If you Google Jonathan Togo, a lot of times Eric Szmanda (sp?) will come up too, and vice versa.
On the DVD's when Jon does the audio commentary for Death Emminent, they say something about him looking like Eric S. and he says something like "don't you dare bring up his name".
Vegas has a guy who looks like Ryan. Would be neat if they both met in a crossover.
That would be hilarious.:guffaw: I could see the CSIM people calling Greg Ryan and the LV people calling Ryan Greg.
Nick to Ryan who he thiks is Greg: Nice wardrobe upgrade Greg
Delko to Greg who he thinks is Ryan: Ryan what did you do to yourself? You'll never get a girl that way! Have I taught you nothing you idiot?! And you wonder why I tell you that you have a misderminor mind in a felony world!:guffaw:
Greg and Ryan to each other: I Hate You!!:guffaw:
I know I'm a nerd for thinking this up, but it was just too funny not to.
btw I also could never see that Ryan/Jon looks like Jake Gyllenhaal even if they used that comparison in of the episodes. :shifty:
I guess I know how Jon feels about his Vegas counterpart.
“I think there are similarities [between Ryan and Greg] and I think there’s going to be a spin-off series perhaps. It’s going to be called Nerds with Badges. It’s going to be Szmanda and I solving crimes! Because its nerds with badges, it’s going to have to be in a less-glamorous city. We’re going to do CSI: Poughkeepsie!”
“[Szmanda] is great. I think he’s a handsome guy. I haven’t met him. I think when we meet it’s going to be akin to Elvis meeting Nixon. We’re going to both implode–our DNA is too similar!”
I'd love to see "Four Hot Guys With Badges" show too. I love Don, maybe "Five Hot Guys with Badges" :lol:ROTFL! Poughkeepsie! :guffaw: I would love to see a spinoff with the two of them. So, that's where the "nerds with badges" quote came from, though I'm not sure they can be called Nerds any longer. Personally, I'd say "Cool Dudes with Badges" hehe. Or better yet: "Hotties with Badges!" And Nick and Jake could join them too. Then it could be called "Four Hot Guys With Badges". Then there could be one ep where they find a baby on the doorstep of their office and the ep could be titled "Four Men and a Baby".
Thanks for posting that, Orla. Any clue the time frame of that second quote? Wondering if it was years ago and if maybe they've met by now. I would love to see Jon and Eric do a comedy buddy movie together (ala Rush Hour or Shaghai Noon/Knights- only modern time). I could also go for them playing brothers in a movie sort of like Supernatural. You know, two brothers fighting baddies... whether it be one specific kind or not. Maybe they could be in a remake of Double Dragon. Cause they look way more like they could be brothers than Scott Wolf and Mark Dacascos (though I love them both) did.

I don't think his comment means that he doesn't like Eric/Greg. I think it only means that the comparisson annoys him. Which is completely understandable I guess. Plus, Jon's got a sense of humor, and it might have been said in a funny way. I'm sure he didn't mean anything mean or anything against Eric or his character. Jon is too nice a guy for something like that.
Some Jon quotes abot Eric\Greg:

heck, why not make it lucky number 7 and add two more. Adam Ross and maybe Archie. Then they could call the show "Lucky Seven Agency".
