Maybe it means that when he box' (or fights in generally) he is explosive like the explosive substance TNT. (Does this make sense :confused:)

If I remember correctly,the tat is from a vintage deck of cards.The upper portion is the joker.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it's something like that.
It is an interesting tattoo, but I think that it fits Jon. They are both unique :)
