This isn't really a spoiler, but the promo for next week Ryan's wearing something pretty hot. I cheered a little when I saw it. I was like, YES! It's the end of monochromatic suits!!!!!

Let's keep up the screentime, TPTB!
It flashed by so quickly, the only thing I was sure of is that it wasn't a suit with monochromatic tie. That is a big improvement.

I think it was something dark green. :shifty:

Okay, so H didn’t what Eric to get involved because this whole under cover thing might fail; and he didn’t what Eric to fail, but its okay for Ryan to fail? I still don’t understand why Ryan was chosen. What am I missing? There still could have been a lot more Ryan.

It was okay for Horatio to say that Eric would have been too obvious a choice. I also didn't get that whole undercover thing may fail.It sounded as if it Horatio wouldn't care if Ryan failed. I hope that this isn't setting the tone for the season.

I think seeing as Eric has been with H forever, Horatio didn't want to put Eric through anything awful if something did go wrong, with the things he's gone through in the past 2 years. Not to mention he was the obvious choice. I don't think choosing Ryan was an insult at all, I think he was just the next best choice and that he could handle it better than Eric if they did fail.

It probably wasn't meant as an insult, but it really didn't come across well.Horatio could have just as well told Eric that both he and Ryan bring something great to the team and he needed Ryan for this particular job. Instead(and this is my opinion) he sounded like a parent telling one child he liked him more than another child.

I think he was just placating Eric. Telling him what he thought he'd want to hear. I think he didn't want to tell him that a big reason he didn't choose him is because he thinks he could be unstable due to the bullet in his brain. He didn't want to hurt Eric's feelings.

I think he didn't want to put Eric through the stress. If you listen H said, "It's still May." Now after I got through arguing with the TV that it's September, I realized that he was talking about the bullet in Eric's head.

I didn't really realize that H pretty much said that he'd rather have Ryan take the fall than Eric haha!

I was glad to see that Ryan had quite a bit of screen time. I think he had more last night then any episode last season - if not the whole season combined.

H said he was worried that the plan would backfire and then he said "it still may" meaning, it still might backfire.

I don't think H meant that he'd rather Ryan take the fall. I think he meant that Ryan could handle it better because he hasn't been through as much stress and heartbreak as Eric has. I mean, Eric lost his best friend, his sister and he was shot in the head (the bullet still there). That's a lot for one person to go through. And everyone in the lab pretty much knows that Eric's not exactly healed 100%. I'm sure they all know that cheatsheet was his even if Calleigh took the fall for it.

Jonathan is another one of the many great actors who does as much acting with his eyes/facial expressions as he does with his voice. Yeah, he was totally thinking "oh, crap!"

He still looks cute even thinking that!! LOL

I thought he did a really good job last night. Last season his whole role was so disjointed. I hope that he continues to play big roles this season.

Me too. He needs more screentime. He was awesome. Loved the first scene with him yelling "So I released the body!" That was so awesome.
