The perfect title, should've been 'Nerds With Badges' but too bad it's already used :( And because Ryan and Greg never actually have a scene together, we can't quote anything... The closest thing is the NWB (Jon said it, right?). Have Jon or Eric ever said anything about each other again?

How about 'Florida Isn't That Far Away'? The original thread title, I still love it even to this very day :D (or could be a tagline or something)

Second that! :devil: The day they're on screen together is the day the world know the word "Spontanious Television Combustion" :lol: due to the extreme hotness and all :devil:

It'd be cool if they could meet during an investigation together. Then other CSIs could be all "Are you two related?" :lol: (the writers could play that, like about Jon looking like Jake Gyllenhaal, in Silencer) Ryan's gonna be all "What? Nah..." And they'd throw each other amused looks and (charming) smiles :D
Expect Grissom to say the 'what we find in a mate' speech from A Little Murder again :lol:

But I want them to meet long way back, like from highschool or college... Would've been cool if, without us knowing it, they're actually still good friends until now. Like when Ryan got the news Greg got beaten up, he would've come over. Or when Ryan got a nail on his eye, Greg'd call him all worriedly... So someday when there's a crossover, they'd just jump on each other "Ryan! Greg! I miss you so much!" and squeez each other to death :lol:
That's in my CSI world anyway :D

If you could put them into an AU universe, what you want them to be? And how they'd meet?

I love your idea about them knowing each other from way back! I can definitely see potential in that! And the reunion would be HOT! :devil:

For an AU I think Greg would be one of those eccentric genius types working for a top research facility on vacation to surf in Florida where he meets Ryan, who is still in patrol, at a club where they hit it off! But I’m not really one for AU’s, I’d be more then happy with a good story and them as they are! ;)

I would fall over if we had a crossover and they were like "Ryan!! Greg!! I missed ya buddy!!!" Then they totally were hugging eachother like maniacs and then they realized they were really close and looked really... stupid so they were like "*cough* Nice seeing ya." and then backed off :p

Ohmigosh, I was freaking out while I was taking my shower. *I think it's because she thinks she posted a link to a "fan-made" website... do LJs count?*

Oh, sandersidle, wait a second and I'll msg you with the details... and I agree with the bottom part of your post. That was so funny. I am so glad I wasn't drinking my orange juice at the time I was reading it.

Come join. (Although I set it to where you have to join the community in order to post...) OH THE AGONY... I am so tired... I am about to start writing a Ryan/Greg fic that's totally fluff. (At least I'll have a Dictionary/Thesaurus handy...) After I find a title for my website.

Hey guys, I think I saw some people talking about this before but I wasn't sure where it was at. Someone was mentioning making a community for Ryan/Greg only over at lj, and I was wondering if that ever happened. If so, what's the name.

PS: Anyone been reading my Ryan/Greg fic, "Doppelganger"?

Edit: just read back and saw the new community name, oops. My bad! Going to join now and add "Doppelganger" to it.

HEY Congrates Neelie you did it, a LJ community for Ryan and Greg YAY..throws confetti. It's looks great now if I can figure out how to join eh. Do I have to sign up for it? I signed up long time ago for nerds with badges, is that the same membership? Oh well I have all new email and s/n, I do it again if so.

I'd like to see Greg have to go to miami for a case and meet ryan..that way we can have a beach scene. I love the ocean and beach. that's where I'm moving as soon as my oldest boy is 18..he turned 15 today..only 3 more years and I'm beach bound. But yeah I'd love to see them have a case of a body on the beach, late at night and the sun is setting as they are searching for clues in the sand. The tide comes in and they have to take their shoes off and walk along the beach. Next thing you know they are goofing off then Greg trips into ryan's arms and they land in the sand.......gutter minds ready to continue it?

Awwww that's so cute :D I would fall over too, sandersidle! :lol: And nah, maybe they don't realize they look really stupid but... suddenly they realize how the other man's gotten much much HOTTER since the last time, so it's getting really awkward :lol: Must be like, "He looks even hotter now... Hold on, what the hell I'm thinking about?? This is my old buddy!!" And they have to back off before they do something...eh, hormone-driven... like ripping the other man's shirt or something :devil:

It's me. I know I've been MIA. I came down with a sudden bout of fever with flu-like symptoms, so I haven't been online much. But I'm feeling better, and now I'm back! :D

Neelie!!! You did it! You made us an LJ community strictly for our beloved Ryan/Greg pairing. *smushes* I checked it out and joined already. I should be posting my 2 oneshot ficlets there soon (Nerds Like It Hotter and (Don't) Cry Wolfe). :D My LJ name's Shadowfax27, and anyone who ships this pairing is a friend of mine. :p :D

Yeah, I have. I actually requested to be one of your friends. (I was adorkablecsifan.) I love that story!! I've read every chapter, and I have kept up with it more than Thin Yellow Line.

Going to go to LJ now!! :D
