I just d/l some of the Bravery the other day, they sound pretty tight, not really my style, but I see Y peeps like them. I was just interested to see what they sound like NOW. El.C. was tighter, Petty Man. Peace

Are they good as Helena or better? :D I only heard Helena on the music channel...

Beautiful album. I love their lyrics - proves why alternative/rock is WAY better than other genres of music. Heh!

You guys should buy it. I favor some songs like The Ghost In You (which seems to be about death again, a dominant theme for the whole ensemble), I'm Not Okay (I Promise You), To The End (too), and of course, Helena.

I loved it that Helena is really, really as the video tells it - about death. Fantastic.

my favorite bands would probably be:
1.Phantom Planet
2.Interpol
3.Radiohead
4.Death Cab for Cutie
5.Schoolyard Heroes
6.The Gorillaz
7.The Killers
8.Modest Mouse
9.Yeah Yeah Yeahs
10.Jack Johnson
And many many more.

OMG I LOVE Nirvana unplugged its one of those unforgettable moments that will be with every nirvana fan forever.. Kurt Cobain was full of such emotion, such pain. My favourite from that will always be where did you sleep last night because of the many emotions in his voice it always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up...
You should hear the original by Huddie Ledbetter. :)

I'm not a fan of sticking so many labels on music. I just listen to what I like and that ranges from Robert Johnson to Marilyn Manson.

Heh, I like Interpol but the name always makes me laugh. We had a class about EU and we talked about Europol and then someone mentioned Interpol and when it was created and half of the class burst to laugh.

I've always wondered how they can actually use that name.

I bought Nirvana's Greatest Hits (sorta) album (a few years ago) and I love the song "You know you're right" - the song Kurt Cobain recorded two weeks before his death. You can feel the pain in the song.

Nothing beats Nirvana. :) I'm glad you discovered them, kazzy.

Oooh, I think I bought that album too! :D W

Audioslave - Out of Exile
Nine Inch Nails - With_Teeth
Sleater-Kinney - The Woods
Tiger Army - III: Ghost Tigers Rise
