I likes teh rock, screamo, post-hardcore, some punk and a little bit of metal
My favorite bands are: The Offspring, Rufio, Saosin, Atreyu, Armor for Sleep, Senses Fail, Phineas, Funeral for a Friend, and Ocean Daybreak.

I was trying to explain to my parents earlier what the difference is between all the different types of music around now (it was hard!)
My friend loves FFAF - she went to a concert a little while ago & I was worried why she was so excited that she was going to a funeral (I didn't know they were a band at the time)

Yep I love Rock, Metal, Alternative, some punk my fave bands include.. Korn, Incubus, Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Green Day, Alice in chains, Machine Head, My chemical romance and tons more!!

I live for alternative music. I have this love affair with alternative bands that don't go mainstream ... and they are too many to mention.
I also prefer listening to 90's alternative, though. I only get a kick out of new alternative bands because I don't like them mostly. They have one great song (like Lifehouse or The Calling) and then destroy my attention by going mainstream (or pop- ish) with their next singles. I also can't can't can't stand punk rock, for the life of me. I don't know why.
