Re: Renewed or canceled shows

I'm very disappointed that The Black Donnellys was cancelled, I loved that show. Oh well! I hope that Crossing Jordan is renewed, it's probably one of my favorite crime dramas.

And the Futon Critic, how I love thee. Let me count the ways...

Re: Renewed or canceled shows

Holy Crap the csi shows haven't been renewed yet? Well we all know they all will be but seriously why wait to make it official...

I'm really hoping that October Road will be renewed, it's a great show with a lot of potential for being a top show IMO. It's listed as fate to be determined.

I agree that ER should be cancelled. I can't believe it's still going on. It lost it's zing a long time ago for me.

Very happy that Lost is renewed..they can't leave us hanging never knowing the mystery of the islands.

Re: Renewed or canceled shows

Thank god Lost, Prison Break, Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives are renewed.

I can't believe they are canceling the OC. I really miss it.

Zap2it.com A Good Omen For 'Medium' "No pickup yet, but NBC asks for more scripts"
NBC's drama "Medium" may have moved a step away from the bubble and toward a spot on the schedule for next season.
The network has asked for six more scripts of the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. That doesn't guarantee any sort of episodic commitment for 2007-08, but it's typically seen as a move in the right direction.

NBC Tackles 'Law' Review "Network, Wolf still in talks over 'L&O,' 'CI'"

<SNIPS>

"Law & Order" is getting close to passing the 400-episode mark, a rare feat for a prime-time drama. But there's a chance the show won't get to reach that milestone.

NBC and "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf have been in discussions over the fate of the venerable series and its younger sibling "Criminal Intent" for the past month, but no deal has been struck. It now appears that the network will hold off on a decision until shortly before it announces its 2007-08 schedule in mid-May.

Wolf has reportedly offered to trim the "Law & Order" budget substantially in order to make the show more financially viable for NBC. He tells the trades that he's optimistic the two sides will find a way to bring both shows back next season.

In a statement, NBC says that "We're in discussions with Dick to explore ways to bring back one or both shows, but no final decision has been made."

Should the original "Law & Order," which wraps its 17th season next month, return in 2007-08, it will pass the 400-episode mark early in the season.

Re: Renewed or canceled shows

They have to renew the CSIs and Criminal Minds.

It would be great to see Law & Order have one more year and let Wolf end it on his own note.

Re: Renewed or canceled shows

Studio 60 returns May 24th to finish its season. No word on cancelation or renewal yet

Unhappy Gilmore: CW Officially Says Goodbye, Girls

This just in, a joint statement from the CW and Warner Bros.:

"Announcing the final season of Gilmore Girls is truly a sad moment for everyone at the CW and Warner Bros. Television. This series helped define a network and created a fantastic, storybook world featuring some of television's most memorable, lovable characters. We thank Amy Sherman-Palladino, Dan Palladino, Dave Rosenthal, the amazing cast led by Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, as well as the producers, writers and crew, for giving us this delightful gem for the past seven years. We would also like to thank the critics and Gilmore fans for their passionate support and promise to give this series the send-off it deserves."

What will now be Gilmore Girls' series finale airs Tuesday, May 15.

Re: Renewed or canceled shows

Aw. I rarely watch Gilmore Girls (I catch it every couple of months ) but I did like that show. I could've saw it ending, but it just seemed like one of those shows that could go on forever.

One of many T.V. shows we are saying good-bye to this year :(

I am not too unhappy about Law and Order getting/maybe cancelled, I never watch it. L&O SVU is the one I catch week in and week out! Love it.

RENEWED: Medium

NBC Foresees 'Medium' Renewal -- Show gets fourth season in 2007-08

The cast and crew of "Medium" won't have to wait until next week to learn the fate of their show.

NBC announced Monday that it's picking up the drama series for the 2007-08 season, which will let star Patricia Arquette and everyone else associated with the show breathe a little easier headed into next week's upfronts. The show had been considered on the bubble for renewal.

I put the rest in the "Medium" Thread. Congrads to Medium.
