Ratings: CSI vs ... Part 2

Woo. Way to go CSI! The numbers are lower, but what can you expect for Summer Repeats? I think they're great being behind non-scripted shows. Well, minus Two and Half Men

And in fairness, Living Legend had far fewer viewers in its first run than Law of Gravity did, so it's possible that more people tune into the episode they didn't see. Of course, Happenstance got more than both, so... lol.

Ya Living Legend was the lowest rated episode of the season cause it was on Thanksgiving, and Law of Gravity, one of my fav's of the season might I add, aired the week after the Super Bowl, which was advertised quite heavily.

Anyone find it weird they are showing Built to Kill again this week? They already replayed it once I believe.

They're submitting Marg for an Emmy for it, so I think it's partly to support her in that bid.

Also, so far the three that they've repeated have been episodes without the miniature killer. Maybe they're going to replay the MCSK episode in order for anyone who missed them to catch up on.

that would make sense. people will tune in to see the MK episodes before the airing of the first one from season 8

rassie posted this at YTDAW, and I thought I'd share it here:

'CSI', 'Housewives', 'Bold' top TV show poll
Three US shows have been nominated the world's most popular TV programs in 2006 - CSI, Desperate Housewives and The Bold and The Beautiful.

According to ratings firm Eurodata TV Worldwide, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, about a team of forensic experts in Las Vegas, drew 79.9 million viewers, beating out sequel show CSI: Miami as the most popular TV drama series.

In the TV comedy category, the female cast of Desperate Housewives attracted 70.2 million viewers, beating Monk (US) and Mr Bean (Britain).

The Bold and The Beautiful, with 24.7 million viewers, was the most popular soap, against two Colombian soaps El Cuerpo des Deseo and Pasion de Gavilanes.

The figures, based on ratings in 48 countries with a potential 2.5 billion viewers, were released by the Monte-Carlo Television Festival and Eurodata.

(the NBA finals are on opposite CSI right now, and have been since after Living Legend, I believe. While CSI is beating them in ratings, they are gradually gaining more viewers as teams are knocked out)

The NBA finales are over Spurs beat the Cavs in a 4 game sweep out to 0 wins for the cavs as of last night (6-14) so they should be back on keel next week.

My problem is that I can not watch it at its regular time, so I have to watch it three hours later, the reason being I watch the Indians games if they are on in the evenings, thank god for west coast CBS and [in my case also] NBC cause otherwise I wouldn't be watching much, most games run from 7-10/10:30 I like when they play the day games its so much easier.

Thanks for the info, Destiny!

CSI tied for fifth place with the NBA finals in this week's Nielsen ratings:

No change from their fast national stats.

Especially with So You Think You Can Dance and Grey's Anatomy on at the same time. I'd give you Grey's final numbers, but they didn't make the top 20. heh.
