Paul/Brass: I Got a Coupon #2

Re: Paul/Brass #2

I just had to come in here and say I never really "look" at Brass, but he looked really good in his polo and vest tonight. Very different from his normal dress shirt and tie thing.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

:) That's EXACTLY why I'm here now instead of weekends like I usually come by. I want a screen cap!!!!! Anyone around here take requests? ;) I was so proud of Brass this episode. He really is a good guy.

And I LOVE the short sleeve shirt on him. Beaujolais, I totally agree. Besides, wouldn't it be more comfortable?

Re: Paul/Brass #2

PG really needs to wear short sleeve shirts and no tie more often. It makes him look so much younger. And really, really hot!

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Did anyone else notice just how tight that polo was? It wasn't some golf polo...Of course, he needs to wear these more often, like everyone else said. beaujolais got her arm porn fix tonight! As we all did. These shirts show off his wonderful physique.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Sharing pictures please, for those of us who can't watch the premiere yet?

I wonder what Sofia thinks of the shirt? Rawr.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Oooh, Brass yumminess. Thank you, Rocky11!

And yes, CSI_LV_AF, that shirt is very snug. He needs to wear it more often. It's fun to read comments around the net about how people finally figured out that PG is a very fit guy.

I can only hope some of the fan fic writers have finally figured out that he doesn't drive a Taurus.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Argh, the Taurus thing...Seriously, he's been driving the Charger since season 5!
Well . . . for work, sure. At home it could be a Taurus. *ducks* Just kidding, just kidding!

But seriously, in ABRTI Pt.2, there's a Buick Allure/LaCrosse parked in his driveway.

There's still a chance it could be something else, but I'm sticking to Buick Allure (those are called the "Buick LaCrosse" in the States, right? I only know them as the Allure). Here's the pic, cropped, enlarged, and digitally enhanced (one bad thing about CSI, they get these perfect images from photo enhancement, when us mortals end up with something far less impressive):

car-c.bmp

And while I accept that this car looks like a lot of cars, like a Dodge Neon/SX2.0/SRT-4, a wee bit like a Chevy Cobalt, and just a little like a lot of other cars. In fact, I really wanted it to be a Dodge SRT-4, for a number of reasons, none of which I'm sure you want to hear.

Anyhoo, anyone else think that it's a Buick . . . LaCrosse, I guess?

Re: Paul/Brass #2

I have to admit to copping out on the car thing. If I have him in a car, my fanfic says "he's in a car". :D

Re: Paul/Brass #2

Whatever the car is parked in Brass's driveway, it's not a Taurus. He's never driven a Taurus in any episode of CSI. However, Max Allen Collins has him driving a Taurus in the books and people ran with it. As for the car in the driveway, I'd say it's a loaner. After all, his car would have been shot up and held as evidence.

And Brass doesn't seem to have a personal car, which given his rank isn't surprising. If he does then it's the Chrysler 300 because he drove that to L.A. to see Ellie.

ETA: my guess is that the car in the driveway is a Buick. It looks a lot like a Dodge but the decal thingy on the trunk is round and too big for a Dodge. And I still think it's a loaner.

Hmmmm, it still strikes me as weird that someone, living in LV, wouldn't own his own car. I wonder what the (semi-fictional) LVPD's policies would be regarding that kind of work/home car use.

And yeah, it was the decal that did it for me, too.

Re: Paul/Brass #2

So if he has a personal car, wouldn't it have been the Chrysler 300 we saw in Ellie? That was my assumption at the time.

As for work/home car use, I have a friend who is a corporal with the state police (not NV) and some time ago I asked about personal car use for detectives. She said that they are allowed to drive their unmarkeds home. I know around here (VA) the neighboring county also lets their cops drive unmarkeds home. And we have a DC cop who lives in my neighborhood and he parks his marked car in front of his house. I believe Brass would get a car to use for home and work because he's a captain (the job has to have a few perks) as well as a detective. I'll have to double check with my friend but I'm fairly certain she told me that was the case.

Since we never see Brass actually going anywhere but home (we saw him head to the Charger in "Double-Cross" and we know he was going home based on his "single malt express is leaving the station as soon as I get home" comment), it stands to reason that he's driving the Charger. And I'm sure they allow him stops on the way home but if he went some where on his personal leave time (like L.A.), then he would have to use his own transportation. And that could either be the Chrysler or a rental. Who knows, maybe the Chrysler was a rental. Brass doesn't strike me as a compact car kind of guy.
