Guess I'll have to wait and see... but right now this theme just scares me... for me the last one was easier... anyway I'll find something, at least I hope so...

Maybe it would help if you don't think of this as a 'theme'? I mean, you can take your inspiration from the title, a single word or even just the beat of the music.

Just because some of us thought it said 'smut' doesn't mean others are going to think so too.

That's what I love about this challenge!

Yeah...the song could refer to a case or a victim or a suspect. Or just take one line out and work with that.

Well darn, I knew I was behind on posts here, but didn't realize the new one was already up. Those long weekends mess me up. Guess I'll have to start thinking of an idea, although technically I don't think I've ever been listed as a participant. I just figure that gives me an easy out if it I need it. :lol:

Well darn, I knew I was behind on posts here, but didn't realize the new one was already up. Those long weekends mess me up. Guess I'll have to start thinking of an idea, although technically I don't think I've ever been listed as a participant. I just figure that gives me an easy out if it I need it. :lol:

I actually have a plot idea for my story. Now I just have to iron out the kinks and I'm good to go. :thumbsup: I'm so glad my muse has returned to me. :lol:

I just have a quick question, does it have to be exactly 2000 words? Cause my story right now is about 200 words short and I wouldn't even know where to add them.

No Princess your story don't needs to have exactly 2000 words. That's just the word limit. If you think you've finished yours, it's all good

Changes made:

Each fic now has the author's screen name under the title.
Each fic now has a link to their own page of participant reviews.
Fics that are posted elsewhere also have a link on their review page.

I wrote my fic last night. Now all I have to do is type it and send it to my beta. Once that's all taken care of, I'll send it in.

Great that you got your story done

I still have a hard time coming up with the right fic idea... I have one but I don't think that it fits to the song... It came to my head as I listened to the song but I'm not sure if that's the connection... It's not that it inspired me for writing it or something...

I don't want to write this story for this challange at least not if I should get a better idea some time next week...

NickyFan, I think if the song came into your head while you listened to the song, you can safely say it was inspired by it. Try not to think so hard about it?

Nickyfan, I agree - if it came to you while listening to the song, go with it! It doesn't need to be a literal interpretation of the lyrics, just whatever moves you. It's what makes the challenge fun!
