i was looking over at the spoiler thread and i saw this video: CSI and Without a Trace: behind the scenes. nothing snickery, but there's george eads in there and i LOVE him. he's so funny. and there's something that he said: 'nick likes to see people stand up to grissom.' or something like that. i think, because nick now sees that people can stand up to grissom, that he wont be so afraid to stand up to him for sara! lol. whenever i watch those kinda videos... my snickery mind always kicks in:p

I miss Snickers. I want a great snickers moment so badly right about now.


So here's my scenario:


Grissom is waiting at the altar in a weddingy wedding. He's sporting the tux and all. The wedding march starts to play and Nick is waiting at the front of the church, waiting to walk Sara up the aisle to give her away to Grissom.

Halfway down the aisle Sara pulls her arm out of Nick's elbow and slips it down so she's holding his hand. Before they've reached the altar she's got her fingers laced in his.

They reach the altar where Grissom is beaming. Sara starts to step up to stand with him and for some reason can't let go of Nick's hand. They both try to let go, but neither of them can. Sara marrying Grissom would be wrong.

Finally Sara Pulls Nick up to stand at the altar with her and looks at Grissom "I just can't do this" She leans forward and places a kiss gently on his cheek, all the while not breaking the physical contact with Ncik.

Sara turns to Nick and squeezes his hand a little "I just couldn't say goodbye, love."

aww!! llk! that was adorable!!! aw, i'd feel so bad for grissom though:( but.. look on the bright side: SNICKERS!! lmao.

i know what you mean. i'm CRAVING a good snickers moment. what's going on? man... i'm so happy that nick was the one that found her. if nothing big like that happened in that episode, snickers would be heading down... BUT WE'RE SHOOTING UP! haha. snickers snickers snickers.. i love you so much!! lol

i just hope we have a snickery moment before sara leaves. i can't wait until she comes back to get it.. that's just gonna be mean!!

Honestly, I do think that we'll get a Snickers moment before they leave. of course, I'm not sure it'll be a scene with just the two of them . . . I can see a team scene where everyone is saying goodbye, giving her hugs . . .

I'd be nice if they had a private moment, understanding what the other went through . . . Nick saying that it wasn't her time either, and that he wants her to live long and happy (he smiles sadly) and she reaches up and touches his skin, smiling brightly, barely containing the tears in her eyes and saying "this isn't goodbye. It's see you later."

aw, meg!! that'd be so cute. and then nick and sara hug, but nick gives sara a quick kiss on the top of the head. i'm so excited. i can't wait till sara's 'why i left' story starts. it'll probably start next week.

wait... what if she found out about nick's feelings? that's the reason why she's leaving because she has to sort out hers? lol... a little on the soap opera side... but what else could make sara sidle get up and leave everything she's done at CSI: Las Vegas. and leave grissom.. the person (as of right now) she's going to 'marry'. confuusing.

but, i think out of the whole team... nick's gonna be the most understanding. and... of coarse, he still beleieves that she will come back. man.. i love nicky:)

I sure hope that Nick is the one that wears his heart on his sleeve when he finds out that Sara is leaving. I mean, he does seem to be the most emotionally involved in the human element when it comes to those he works with the cases that he works on . . .

I can't wait for the story to start either. I mean, I can because that just means she'll really be gone, but I want to know what drives her decision and how she parts ways with everyone . . . specifically Nick, and begrudgingly, I want to see how things go with Grissom (*ahem* break up *ahem* please!) . . .

yeah... i'm just happy because SHE IS COMING BACK. ANND... grissom might be gone when she comes back leaving sara all for nicky:) lol

and nick's the only one that's being really emotional about sara and grissom together. like, he's actually mad and he was actually really clueless that they were together. probably because he was in his own little fantasy of him and sara. lmao!

there's a rumor about grissom and sara getting married off screen, then when sara leaves their still together and when she comes back.. they're STILL together. what do you say to that... YEAH RIGHT!!! no.. if sara leaves that means the 'perfect romance' has to break up. sara and nick belong together.. that's all i can say to that!! :D

this next episode looks fun though. hopefuly we'll have a LITTLE interaction between nick and sara. a quick 'hey, how's the case going. glad you're back'.

man... we're not asking for alot.. like a wedding!

Emily, your optimism is inspiring!

But honestly, what I got from the TV Guide interview with CM was that if Jorja wanted to come back, they'd be open to it . . . they aren't killing the character, and they aren't parting on bad terms . . . but with no concrete plans for Sara's return, I just can't get my hopes up . . . I was positive that Jorja wasn't leaving, and I was wrong. I don't want to say that she's coming back, and look forward to that until I know when, if at all, it'll happen . . .

As far as Grissom and Sara staying together and getting married off screen - if my American friend was right, and that TV Guide had an article that stated Grissom had a broken heart, I doubt they'll live happily ever after. To me, it sounds like Sara Sidle is leaving Las Vegas. And if Grissom is staying put, I doubt they can have a long distance relationship, let alone a long distance marriage because they seemed to have issues communicating to begin with (Lady Heather, Grissom's sabatical, when Ecklie asked how long they'd been together . . .). They just don't seem to be on the same page . . .

As far as Nick and Sara go, it goes without saying that I think they are end game, but whether or not we'll see the two of them ever be more than co-workers and friends, at this point, I'm just not sure.

Sorry to be such a downer, guys, but I'm just watching some older CSI episodes and can completely see why I fell in love with these two to begin with - and I just can't believe that for 7+ years, the writers pissed away all the chemistry and story opportunity in favor of GSR, which to me, is just painful . . .

It is sad Meg, but I'm afraid I have to totally agree. I mean, if they were going to get Snickers together they would have done it by now. Nick finding her may have just been because the writers see them as having the strongest friendship on the show. If that's all we get, then I suppose I can live with it, but you're right, it really is a tragedy to see the writers passing up on all this chemistry...

*sigh* Whatcha gonna do?

...Now I suppose we should have a post that's a little cheerier. Anyone?

I'm starting to wonder why Nick was the one to find Sara . . . I mean, at first I thought it was because they were going to start a triangle. And a part of me still believes that since I'm not the only one who thought that, Nick may have some defiance for Grissom after she leaves, feeling like Grissom may have been a part of the reason that Sara left . . .

But the pessimistic person in me is starting to say that the reason he found her was because he's been through the same thing. He had a strong reaction to her being gone because he didn't want her to suffer through what he did, and that he was powerless to stop it, so he had the drive to look for even the smallest clue that someone else may have looked over at first . . . he was the one with the most on line, so to speak, because if they didn't get to her in time, he'd be faced with his own mortality and the fact that it could've just as easily happened to him . . . but it didn't . . .

In a way, I think it was symbolic for Nick to save Sara the way that she and the rest of the team saved him . . .

I still think that Nick has feelings for her though . . .and vice versa. And I'm going to continue to believe that the reason why Sara and Grissom got together (which I believe happened after Nick's ordeal) was because they were scared at life passing them by, so they grabbed on to the first thing they could . . . Grissom knew that Sara had feelings for him, and though he knew it was terribly dangerous for their hearts and their careers, he knew she wouldn't shut him down - not after what they'd just been through . . . and though Sara, I believe had started to move on, the fact that she (thought) wanted Grissom for so long and now he wanted her, how could she turn away? It's human nature to want to know "what could've been" . . . just too bad that they didn't know to let go and follow their own hearts, respectively, with Sara's leading her to Nick . . .

ok this is what i see so far:

-NICK saved Sara. yeah, it might be because nick went through the same thing. but the one thing that kept HIM GOING was Sara. he looked over at her pictures, was sad, but found strength to carry on.

-NICK was the first to the crime scene and obviously didn't like it that grissom was the one that went with sara in the end.

-NICK stopped by sara on the go kart, drew his force to her and said: 'you wanna ride?'. he knows that Grissom and Sara are together, but still couldn't help but slip that flirtaious line in there.

-at the beginning of 'a la cart', nick asked greg 'so, did sara ever mention anything to you about grissom?' he was OBVISOULY confused and a little hurt. he knows that him and sara have a good friendship, and he can't understand why she didn't tell him. greg on the other hand lets it off, saying that 'he knew all along'. nick... he just doesnt want to believe it.

-in season 7, when catherine went behind the team's back with keppler, they showed NICK get really pissed off that catherine didn't trust them. i think they did that to show us that he's DEFINATLY not gonna be ok with GSR.

^^yes yes, i might just but WAY to positive. my SNickery mind is probably just taking over, but i can't.. no, i WON'T believe that this is the end of Snickers. GSR is going down, we know that. they cant' have a long distance relationship and if sara ever does come back, grissom will probably/hopefully be gone, leaving sara and nick all to themselves:)

stay positive you guys. i know somethings aren't looking good. believe me, i've had my doubts. but nick and sara are perfect for each other. they HAVE to get together! :D

Emily, it's not that I'm giving up - but I've been burned by TV ships before . . . Las Vegas' Danny and Mary for instance which busted a few years ago, but officially went up in flames when NBC released Nikki Cox from her duties at the show (yeah, she was fired, and it wasn't her choice to leave like it was Jorja's, but still . . .). 90210's Brandon and Kelly - I still love them 10+ years later, but she ended up with Dylan . . .

I will never give up on Snickers, just like I will never give up on Dary (Danny and Mary), or Brandon and Kelly (no idea what their combined ship name would be/could be/is).

Right now, I just feel like the rug has been pulled out from under me and I don't want to keep falling down on the concrete floor, hitting my face . . . I'm going to keep watching the show, keep hoping that Jorja comes back, keep hoping for Snickers, but I need something tangible at this point . . . I need something in black and white that states that GSR is over, that Sara and Nick will always have this strong bond . . . I don't want to put my hopes for these two to get together on a comment made by CM that Jorja's number 6 has only been retired . . . the possibility that Jorja will come back to the show is definitely a great possibility - but at this point, it's not set in stone . . . I wish it were, though . . .

Maybe I'll feel differently in a day or two and be optimist once again, but I've had a pretty crappy month over all both personally, and "professionally", and with news that Jorja is officially leaving, I think it's all starting to add up and I just don't see the silver lining at this point in time . . .

i'm not giving up on snickers i have faith with sara and nick, they do have a great chemistry as good friends and beyond and hoping that it will continue, if sara break up with grissom it would be great but i dont see sara jumping for a relationship that fast maybe they (nick and sara) would hang out more again, and would realized that they are meant to be and be in love with one another and get married somewhere in between. but honestly as long as i see nick and sara work and have that ooh soo dilectable and juicy flirting with them i'll be happy.
i've already 8x01 over youtube but i know they deleted it and from all the spoilers i been hearing from you, i think there be a great arc on the story and i'm hoping that they will give us what we deserve and have a very chocolatee and nutty snickers scene. even 10mins i will settle for it the longer the better.

hm... yeah, i know what you mean about these spoilers and GSR and stuff. it's realy dissappointing. we get AMAZING scenes in Dead Doll. there was TONS of talk about a love triangle.. and yes, i was beyond happy!!! but, now with what's coming up it just kinda... sucks.

OK!!! i have a plan. seeing as these spoilers are just making me mad and stuff... as of RIGHT NOW... i'm going spoiler free for the reason of the season. so now, i dont know WHAT to expect. and i won't be dissappointed before the episode even airs.

all what i want (at the point) is for GSR to break up and Sara and nick to TALK. they haven't talked YET. that's what annoying me because sara went through this WHOLE thing, and out of it.. we didn't even get an adorable TEAM moment. like, i was kinda hoping that when she first came back (with the broken arm and stuff) she'd walk into the breakroom and see the team there.. sitting and reading. but then one of them looks up (preferably nick) and smiles. they all race over (carful of her arm) and give her hugs, THANKFUL that she's alive.

Season 8 is looking really good. alot of drama. right now, a little to soap operay for me. i wish we went back to season 3 or 4. good, crazy cases and adorable scene for EVERYONE. so EVERY ship was happy.

but then... in the end... WE WIN:)
