I'd pay to see Flack working together with Brass though. :)

You mean the ep that showcased the NY team before the show started? IIRC, he wasn't actually cast at that point.

I am hopeful that we don't need to worry too much about this new detective. Maybe TPTB just want a semi-regular detective to take up the slack while Don is on sick leave. I'm all for continuity like that, especially if they let us see Don recovering off duty.
 
Yeah, like Maka and Haagen.

Flack is like Brass -- no matter how many people you cast to somewhat replace their presence on-screen, it doesn't work.
