I can't believe I never knew this thread was here! I love NCIS. Next to the CSI series, it's my favorite show.

Since you all are talking about the finale, I'll put in my two cents. I thought it was really good. At least no one died this season that was a major part of the team. It was sad to see Ziva deciding to stay with her father. For a minute I really thought she was going to shoot Tony. The ending was kind of spooky though, with poor Ziva getting beaten up and threatened. Does anyone know what the deal is with the picture that she taped on the wall? I noticed her father had the same one sitting on his desk.

I'm pretty sure there's Ziva from childhood, maybe with Ari and Tali? Just a guess.
The two theories I've read are that it's Ziva & Ari & Tali, or that it's Ziva & Tali & Rivkin.
I can't see it being Ari though. IIRC, Ari was raised by his Arab mother until she died, and I thought he was an adult when that happened. So it's unlikely he'd have been part of a photo op with his half siblings.
(if for no other reason than it would have really screwed up his undercover story if there were pictures floating around of him with his Mossad trained sibling)

Ari knew his father before his mother died. He told Gibbs in Kill Ari 2 that he was visiting his father when his mother was killed. So it is possible that he knew Ziva and Tali during their childhood.

I thought the Finale was absolutely fantastic!!

It just makes me love Michael Weatherly even more!! What a wonderfully talented actor!!! So underrated yet so amazingly awesome!! And Cote de Pablo is not bad either!!!

There's my hope that our team reunites and continues to kick butt next new season!

And I'm also looking forward to the LA team's start!!

I totally agree with you BauerAlmeida the finale was great :thumbsup:Michael and Cote De Pablo really did a great job and the finale or cliffhanger left me wanting even more. Tooo bad I have to wait but so anxious.:scream:

I also cant wait Ncis:Los Angeles :scream::)
I am already fantisicing over Kensi and Callen :DI think they make a cute couple.
Kensi is my fave but love them all.:luvlove:

David McCallum (Ducky) was on The One Show on Monday. It's on the iPlayer until Monday. His segment starts 12 minutes 17ish seconds in.

NCIS: Los Angeles Recruits Oscar Winner Linda Hunt
Jun 18, 2009 04:24 PM ET
by Matt Mitovich

CBS' NCIS spin-off will be Living Dangerously with the addition of Linda Hunt to its cast.

Though this news comes on the heels of Louise Lombard being dropped http://www.tvguide.com/News/Fall-TV-recasts-1006363.aspxfrom the NCIS: Los Angeles ensemble, Hunt is not replacing Lombard's Agent Macy per se. Rather, the Academy Award winner is coming on board as a new character not seen in the backdoor pilot that aired as two May episodes of NCIS proper.

Hunt will play a former film-industry technician who now oversees the support staff at the L.A.-based Office of Special Projects. There, she will outfit Special Agents Callen (Chris O'Donnell), Hanna (LL Cool J) et al with micro surveillance cameras and other gee-whiz gadgets.

In other words, she's Q, just with a lower voice register.

In the NCIS: LA pilot (aka the NCIS episodes "Legend, Part 1" and "Legend, Part 2"), Lombard's Macy was a former major in the military police-tuned-investigator. It is unclear at this time whether that role will be recast, or Macy replaced on the OSP team.

USA Network is rebroadcasting the aforementioned pair of NCIS episodes this Friday night.

Hunt, who won a supporting actress Oscar for 1982's The Year of Living Dangerously, recently recurred on TV's The Unit and Without a Trace.

Re: NCIS thread #3: We need a name boss!!

A couple of special NCIS days are coming up this week:
Tomorrow, July 7, is the birthday of Joe Spano, a,k,a, FBI agent Fornell.
Wednesday, July 8, is the birthday of Michael Weatherly, a.k.a. Tony DiNozzo.

Just random trivia-

Was watching old NCIS episodes on dvd the other day. Did anyone notice that the actress who plays Kelly Gibbs also plays 'young Stella' in CSI: NY (in the episodes Cold Reveal and Grounds for Deception)? Here's her IMDB link:

Wow, that's awesome, I never saw that! Except now, of course, Gibbs is Stella's father, and that's just weird, 'nuf said!

That's very interesting. Short, but interesting. I wonder if the same people that kidnap Tony are the same people that currently have Ziva?

Heya, bestest bud, mind elaborating a bit? Where'd that startlingly awesome tidbit originate?!
