Well this is good to hear. I figured that they would renew, the way they talked about how they love the show.

I like this part.

Three down, two to go.

Of the five NCIS cast members in limbo, Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum have also reached new deals to return. Still at the negotiating table: Michael Weatherly and Sean Murray. A well-placed source, however, assures me that both are close re-signing.

Mark Harmon and Cote de Pablo already had deals in place for next season.

EW 'NCIS' scoop: Michael Weatherly inks new contract

Tony is officially staying put.

Michael Weatherly is the latest NCIS regular to ink a new multi-year deal with the show, sources confirm to me semi-exclusively.

For those keeping track at home, here’s where the 2010 NCIS Contract Renegotiation Saga stands as of this evening: Of the five actors in limbo, Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum have all reached new deals to return. Sean Murray is the sole cast member still in negotiations.

Mark Harmon and Cote de Pablo already had deals in place for next season.

From one of the TV Guide online comments from a reader:

C'mon McGeek, get with the program here! Sign the contract already!

 Loved that, I could Michael in his Tony Character typing that out. :D

EW: Scoop: Sean Murray inks new 'NCIS' deal

And then there were none.

The months-long NCIS contract drama concluded on a successful note this evening with news that Sean Murray (McGee) has inked a new, multi-year contract with the hit procedural.

Murray was one of five actors negotiating new pacts with the show — and the last one to sign on the dotted line. He joins fellow returnees Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, Rocky Carroll, and David McCallum. Mark Harmon and Cote de Pablo already had deals in place for next season.

Bottom line: You can relax — everyone’s coming back.

I am watching season 7 on AXN and I noticed a new character that is quite annoying.Who is that new lawyer that likes to upset Gibbs? Absolutely no chemistry with anyone.

Is the season finale any good? Last season was awesome.

The actress's name is Rena Sofer, she plays (recurring) attorney Margaret Allison Hart she is suppost to be a love interest of sorts for Gibbs. Whether that goes anywhere who knows, as she will be also doing a re-curring role on Bones. She [the character] represented Gibbs nemisis Col. Bell that they have been discussing. As well as others.

But lets just say in the season finale, she will do something that will make her a little less annoying and throw you for a loop, though I think her character is suppost to be that way to the audience.

As to the season finale, it was pretty good I definitly recommend it. ;) here is a link to a recap if your interested. But I will let one thing out of the bag... It ends in a cliff-hanger that will make you say WTH NO way NOT fair...

Thanks,Destiny.I used to watch the show on and off but recently I have become a fan.I LOVE Tony but all characters are great and have chemistry between them.

That lawyer have no chemistry with Gibbs!!! Hopefully it will NEVER be romantic. And I will watch the finale for sure tomorrow.

Question: Maybe it's me, but in the last several NCIS episodes of the just-completed season, Ziva's role seemed marginalized. It almost seemed as if now that she wasn't a Mossad agent, what were they going to do with her. And when you consider NCIS' track record with female characters (Kate, Paula Cassidy, Jenny, Agent Lee, the Louise Lombard character from NCIS: LA), female agents have been expendable. I was wondering if you'd heard anything about the Ziva character being phased out.

Matt Roush: I'm sure that's not the case. The story as the series was building toward its season climax happened to focus heavily on Gibbs, who is after all the franchise. Ziva is an indispensable part of that ensemble, though, and while it's true women aren't faring particularly well on some of the CBS procedurals next season, and NCIS' own track record is a bit spotty, I wouldn't lose any sleep over her immediate future.

Question: I need a juicy NCIS scoop, please.

Ausiello:
Would you settle for a mildly interesting one instead? Knots Landing vet William Devane is slated to guest star this fall as the grandfather of a little girl that is kidnapped. Admit it, that kind of knocked your socks off.

NCIS's premiere for the season 8 is gonna be a two hour long episode

Bring on september 21st.
