I didn't like the new episode that much. I knew it never could be as good as "Internal Affairs", but I though it was too much about Nikki and I don't like her. I'd rather see epsiodes focus around our main characters (unless it's Palmer, he's cool).

However I like the interaction between Tony, Ziva and McGee at the beginning. I thought the kiss Ziva gave McGee was sweet!

It wasn't that disappointing. The interaction between Tony and Nikki was very good. The humor in the beginning was great. I just love the way Tony picks on McGee  The promo for next week looks very promising Daisy. From what I can see it's Ziva-centric

in the promo it looks like she gets shot

I really enjoyed last nights show. Ziva's jealousy really showed through. WEll..........since for some stupid reason I can't get the spoiler tag to work as always(I don't want to have to go the other way neither), I'll keep my comments to myself about who it may be even though TV Guide has printed suggestions.

Hehe, I didn't get any sleep last night and had a 4-hour shift at work, and all I could think all day was that I needed a coffee, and coffee made me think of Gibbs. Nothing like a hot coffee and a hot Marine to wake ya up.
Alll these spoilers are so interesting, it sucks that here in the UK I'm like half a season behind - we're still in s4! I'd watch 'em online, but I'm too far behind now. I think I need a lil head slap from Gibbs for letting that happen *slaps self on head*. Still, that means I have all these new eps to look forward to. :) Maybe now I can get a kiss from Gibbs?

I have mixed feelings about this episode:

the good parts: funny scenes with Ziva (jealous? no way...), Tony and McGee and Tony in Iraq (he looked really hot)

the WTF parts: why were they all so eager to go to Iraq? Just to get a new reference on their CV? That's a reason to take language lessons, but going to Iraq? 1st major WTF moment for me...
2nd major WTF moment: Nikki making all those detours and getting out of the car just like that, with all people around her constantly talking about all the dangers from insurgents, IEDs...snipers? yeah we get them a lot round here, but never you mind
and it's not like we have work to do...

did I mention Tony looked hot? I kept concentrating on him because I found Nikki so annoying.

Does this episode mean she's introduced as a new team member? Why bother with her backstory and give her that much screen time for character development if she's not going to play a major role in the future?
I'm not sure if this will work out...

i believe nikki was so eager to go to iraq, and was so reckless, because her brother was shot there and the man who tried to help him was shot dead. she was in contact with the mans son, and wanted to meet him.

i liked the episode, ive liked all ncis episodes. i really like nikki and her quirks. it fit in well that she was in iraq because she was so out of her element being a germaphobe.

i am really nervous over what is going to happen in the finale, there is only one character that i would mind parting with but i have no idea who it could be.

Natty, the question you asked me last night about this::drool:

NIS stands for Naval Investigative Service. You can read all about NCIS History right here http://www.ncis.navy.mil/about/history.asp
Hope it helps hon. ;)

Ohhhhhhhhhh that is a nice pic of Gibbs! NIS could also stand for Naughty, Irresistable, Sexy. Gibbs is all 3. And backwards, NIS is 'SIN' and he is SINfully tempting and hot.

Ha ha that acutally made me laugh out loud. SINfully tempting he is!!! The new episode starts in about a minute and thirty seconds for me and I'm super excited. I can't wait to see what happens with Ziva!!!

I though tonight's ep was excellent!! Cote did a fantastic job. Some pretty good Red Herrings to throw us off, I suspected the 2 different guys at several times back and forth, through the whole ep! And I loved the way they ended it, with Ziva making amends with whats-his-name, by tracking down his ex-girlfriend and putting in a good word for him... What did everyone else think of it?

Love love loved it! I felt bad for Ziva, though, the entire time!!! She looked like crap....but only because I don't think she was getting much sleep. Michael was cute, but something about him still bugs me, even if he had nothing to do with it all. The way he went right back to Devon made me think that Ziva was just a rebound.

I loved Tony's reaction to it all. He almost seemed like he didn't know how to handle what happened to her because she was in such a fragile state. I don't think he's ever seen her like that. I thought it was cute when he tried to get her to go out for drinks, but then I was sad when she declined. It was funny to see her go without him though. It was so Ziva of her to do that.

Yeah, it was interesting to see both Tony's and Gibb's reactions to what happened to her. Gibbs was pretty soft on her - especially since she defied his orders a couple times, and knowingly put herself in possible danger by getting intimate with a suspect. And Tony, yeah, he definitely didn't know quite how to react, but he was probably smart to sass her and try to snap her out of it, rather than to coddle her, she would have hated that! Funny to see him being the one to be concerned about her for a change, though! :)

Actually, word around NCIS is that the buzzed-about death won't be the biggest surprise of the season. Consider this line from Director Vance to Gibbs from the two-hour season finale: "If you think you can protect them forever, Jethro, you are mistaken. There's already been one casualty. There will be more." What does mean?! Beats me

Wow, what an ep. Fantastic! I loved how we got to see the deeper human sight of Ziva. Tony's and Gibb's concern for her. Great acting from the whole cast. Not much humor in this ep, it would have been misplaced. Although Abby's "... That's why I'll never marry..." Gibbs' smirk was priceless :guffaw:

Hormiga, I read that Ausiello spoiler too, just this morning on another NCIS board. And in this case, I'm thinking that the word "casualties" probably means loss of job, not loss of life... It probably happens at the season finale, allowing fans to once again stew throughout the entire summer over the fate of one of their beloved characters, and whether he/she comes back to NCIS next season or not, a la Gibbs from a couple seasons ago! Very clever, but once again very heartless, of the writers! :wtf:
