Mr. Rogers.....hahahaha:p I love the writers on this show.

Ziva as Probie is even funnier. I can't wait till the threats from her really start up.

It's interesting how they've made Tony change his mind about what he thinks about Halloween. Previously he hated it. But, did he just change his mind because he won the pool?

Blue teeth.....(I kept expecting him to switch out the cups when she wasn't looking so either she or McGee ended up with that cup):p Foaming Keyboard.......Abby? or Ziva?

I guess there is no new episode next week since they showed the Halloween episode this week. World Series next week.....????

Interesting episode last night. I think I liked seeing Franks back. But, I spent the whole episode worried that they were going to make that kid Gibb's kid. It would have been totally out of character (at least how I see his character) for him to have an unknown love child. Glad they didn't go that route.
The case? Never would have guessed. Nice little twist there at the end.

Rena Sofer Lands at NCIS
Oct 30, 2009 06:29 PM ET

Rena Sofer will be a guest star on NCIS, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Sofer has been cast as a lawyer with mysterious motives. It could become a reoccurring role on the hit CBS crime drama, according to a CBS rep.

The news was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

New here :) I hope it's okay to just jump in...

Brief thought here though. How could Ziva become an NCIS agent? Is she an American citizen? Does it matter if she's not? If she's not will that fact become an issue in the future?
I was wondering the same thing. That, aside from the question of why would a Mossad agent will want to leave and work for an American agency. I mean, I get it series-wise, but not so much the sense behind it.

I have a question on "Code Of Conduct": How did the victim get into the driver seat?

Ziva has contacts with all the major defense agencies of the US, and many contacts in the government. It would take no work at all to get her application to become a US citizen fast-tracked. Especially with her education and status.

I was reading the article in the most recent TV Guide, and while the stuff isn't completely accurate (they said Ari was her step-brother, for one), they said that she was on her way to becoming a U.S. citizen. So, I suppose she is (since she has to). I don't think it would be that difficult, like A. FineLabrats said...

I agree that it wouldn't be difficult. I was just wondering about her status, as I doubt a non-american can work for a US federal agency (or can they?).

I'm not sure how I feel about Ziva becoming a US citizen. I think that her being a non-american was playing a part of the show, and now if she will be one... I don't know.

From TV Guide online:

Robert Wagner will guest-star as Tony's father in the 150th episode of NCIS, TVGuide.com has confirmed. Tony and his dad will reunite in the episode, which is slated for January.

An added layer to the casting is that Michael Weatherly, who plays Tony, portrayed Wagner in the 2004 TV movie The Mystery of Natalie Wood.

Other patriarchs who have stopped by the series include Michael Nouri as Ziva's father and Ralph Waite as Gibbs' dad.

Oooooooo, what a good call, casting wise.
I look forward to seeing this and finding out more about Tony's past.

So Ziva's US citizenship was addressed. And then some. I liked the Ziva-Leyla interaction, and found the fact that Leyla is an Iraqi to add to that.

Loved Ducky and Abby's intervention. "It's insulting enough when people that we don't know try this stuff."

I thought it was a magnificent episode. Especially because they never addressed the issue of Leyla and Namira. All there was was a throwaway line about "Give my Goddaughter my love." The Mike Franks episodes are always good ones.

It was also cool to see Corporal Punishment back in a little cameo role.

I also like the idea of Ziva becoming an American Citizen and a full time NCIS agent. She really was in that Liason role for too long, IMO.

I loved Tony's banter about the whole thing, too. Only he can say something so totally offensive and have it come out so funny. Although, think of it, he really IS the American Dream. His family emigrated from Italy a couple generations prior, (I think it was his grandfather, IIRC), and became unbelievably rich. They cut him off, because they knew better than to give him loads of $$$, and he still has a high standard of living as a federal agent.
