I finished watching season 3 on DVD today and started on season 4. I've also pre-ordered season 5 thru Amazon. I noticed USA is running a marathon of season 4 right now, almost started to watch then decided to just watch the DVDs with no commercials.:D
 
Hi yall; This is my first post in this thread. I’ve become a regular NCIS fan because I think Abby is the greatest character in primetime. In addition to Gibbs/Mark Harmon, of course, who is still so sexy, I also adore Ziva. Replacing a favorite character like Kate is hard, but Ziva is so different and so scary competent, it worked out fine. Great move by TPTB; who would have ever thought about using a Mossad officer! (Can CSI Miami borrow those writers?). Also loved Jenny, mainly because I’ve always liked Lauren Holly’s work (except that marriage to Jim Carrey thing). At least they killed her off in a way that indicated Jenny had some say in how her life would end. Also very smart writing.
Didn’t like the Col Mann story line originally because I thought Gibbs and Jenny had more chemistry. Watched a rerun today with Col Mann and find it’s okay now, with Jenny gone, and as long as she doesn’t pursue the marriage thing; she’ll lose him in a heartbeat! I wonder if that was the writers’ hint that she’s on her way out the door.C
Can’t wait for the new season.
And DEATH (or at least retirement) TO VANCE! What a creep! He’s the Ecklie (CSI boss) of NCIS, maybe even the undersheriff.

As much as I dislike director Vance at this point, I don't think it's a good thing to threathen him with some words like these. We all have our favorite characters, but we also need some 'bad guys' to keep this show alive. Now, some of us fans like the character of Vance *or so I've hear*. Why not let just sit it out and wait for the outcome? ;)
 
The "DEATH TO VANCE" comment was meant as a takeoff on the title "Death to Smoochie," not actually thinking about anyone dying.

maybe Ducky's mom will get a storyline, too :lol:
so only Tony, McGee and Abby left without a parent storyline. for now

a female lead is sent to missions. I wonder if we are going to have other beautiful chats with Ducky and Ziva about Tony. That would make my season:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:

OMG spoilers spoilers, can't keep free of them. Well it would be nice to see the storyline with Ziva and her father. Erm... is this going to be the season of the fathers :lol: Makes me wonder about Tony's :guffaw:

Thanks alot CSISenna I had a great time :)

I'm quite intrigued by this because when Ziva was in alot of trouble in the episode shalom her father did nothing to help her out really and didn't even appear in the ep, it was in fact Gibbs who she called to come and 'save' her and he flew 3,000 miles to help her out. I wonder if there will be any hostility between Gibbs and Mr David about this because as we know Gibbs is very protective of his Gibblets. As for Tony that would be very interesting also and probably we would see a deeper side to Tony.

Anyways i'm rambling now let me know what you guys think if you can make any sense out of what I just rote!
 
Hey grissom89! ..."gibblets"... I like it. I can't wait to "meet" Ziva's dad; I wonder who will play the role. Any info on that out there?
 
That's an interesting one littlesara and an idea i would personally welcome.

Especially if it's to do with Gibbs like if he imagines he sees her or he has flashbacks and realises just how much he has lost in his life personally. You know a more personal storyline for them because i'm not Hollis's biggest fan i'll admit. However, i doubt they will go ahead with this but if they do i can't wait!

Have any episode details been revealed yet?

So, are we totally sure she's coming back, even if in a flashback? I mean, I've heard the stuff from Aussiello and where ever else I'm getting my spoilers (the sources are escaping me at the moment) and they all say she's coming back, but if you look at IMDB.com that doesn't prove to be apparent. The other cast members look as if they've been signed up for another twenty-two episodes or so, but Lauren Holly has not been.

What day does the season start? Sep 23rd?
 
Maybe they're trying to keep Lauren's contract status hush-hush so no one knows what's going on. I guess we just have to wait and see. I personally would love to see Jenny come back, in any way. She is/was one of my favorite characters (and I know I'm in the minority when I say that.)

I'm counting the days until Season 6.
