NASCAR

Wow. That is a lot of wall space. I don't think I have that much.

For some reason lately, I have begun to like Tony Stewart more and more. When he and Elliott were rookies together I really did not like him. Recently I found out the track he owns, Eldora, is not that far from where I live. I thought it was on the other side of the state. Someone that I work with actually went to Eldora for the race when some of the NASCAR drivers were racing there.

To me racing is just a bunch of cars driving around in a circle (oh, excuse me, an oval) but I have someone that might be coming to visit me in February and he'll want to see the races (since I live in the Daytona area) so yeah, I guess he's taking me. :)

Well, okay the cats out of the bag.

Thanks for the switch . I guess when I chose the code in my Photobucket page, I clicked on the tag code instead of [url].

:D

I like Mark Martin as well, gotta root for my fellow Arkansan! :D

And yes...I also agree that Jamie is great too. :D

Not to like, kill this thread by breaking in with my 'I dont watch Nascar' ignorance, but doesnt this belong in "T.V. and other Media"?

It actually would be better placed in a SPORTS forum. But since there isn't a sports forum, I think Miscellaneous forum is a good spot for it.

Thanks Baba! I didn't get to watch most of qualifying today, I do know that Elliott spun on his qualifying lap, and that's why he's so far back in the field...

I forgot qualifying was today, and I was home at the time to watch it too,, for some reason I was thinking it was qualifying tomorrow.

well, it's easy to get confused now with some races being impound races, and some following the traditional schedule of events, lol

You probably thought it was tomorrow b/c it's been on Saturday for the last two weeks. Right now they have me so thoroughly confused as to what they're doing from week to week.

And I wish they quit changing the start time of races. Last week, while I was at the track in Michigan I found out the race didn't begin until 2:15P.

Yeah, this year has been crazy with some tracks have Garage Impounds after qualifying, some tracks not having the impounds. The only sad thing is that Sunday's race is the last FOX televised race. Since NBC gets the second half,
