Musicals-Who else?

*Raises hand* I love musicals, too, but I'm more of a closet musical lover. I don't mention my love of musicals that often, for some reason...
Here's my list!

In no particular order:
The Music Man
Rent
South Pacific
Chicago
Hairspray
Victor/Victoria
Kiss Me Kate
An American in Paris
The Sound of Music

But I think my favorite would have to be...
The Producers! I saw it back in May, and I absolutely loved it! The songs are really catchy, and the whole show is hilarious. Mel Brooks is a genius!

Oh ME!! I have a lot of favorites but I really like:
(they're all the movie versions)

Bye Bye Birdie (with Ann Margaret)
Newsies
Brigadoon
Singing in the Rain
Chicago
My Fair Lady
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
And who doesn't love Mary Poppins!

At the momment, I'm 100% totally obsessed with Hairspray. Guh! I adore it. The songs, the plot, the dancing, the dialogue...and looking at Zac Efron isnt bad either ;) I was never a big fan of musicals, but I do like a few.

Hairspray
Grease
Sound of Music

Yeah. Hairspray was great! :D

I love musicals too! I have seen Grease, Saturday Night Fever, The Producers, Mamma Mia and Miss Saigon all in London. But my favorite is The Phantom of the Opera! I have seen that one two times in London and once in Stockholm. The music is fabulous! But I refuse to see the movie. I think that would destroy the image of the musical/opera.

My daughter recieved Hairspray for christmas, and she's watched it like 35 times, and knows it word for word and song for song, she sings, eats, and sleeps with the DVD, drives me insane.
