Musicals-Who else?

Yes! I LURVE Musicals!

Here are my favs:
-My Fair Lady(Audrey Hepburn..::sigh:: wished I could of been her...AMAZING. My fav. old-tyme actress.)
-Dirty Dancing(Is that REALLY considered a musical?)
-RENT
-Grease
-Bye Bye Birdie
-CHICAGO
-Victor, Victoria(My ABSOLUTE favorite! Gotta love a cross-dressing Julie Andrews!)
-Mary Poppins

I could go on and on and on. I grew up in theater so it's in my blood.

In high school, we did Grease and I played Cha-Cha. I was the ONLY one out of the cast that had dancing experience. And let me tell you...that friggin' wig looked like a poodle died on my head. It was HIDEOUS.

If I think of more, I'll edit my post. :D

Phantom of the Opera! I don't care whether its a musical or an opera but I love it! Have been to London twice to see it. Absolutly amazing. Own the DVD as well, and have watched it so many times. It isn't a patch on the stage performance however.
Ever in London - Definatly go see it, well worth it.

Also hoping to get to see Les Miserables some time this year.

My fave musical is either Grease...because who doesn't love it!

The Rockey Horror Picture Show...because who doesn't love tim curry in a frock

and Calamity Jane..."take me back to the windy city...cuz the windy city is mighty pretty but they aint got what we got...no sireeeyyy!"

Of course Grease.

The Sound of Music is also pretty good. Phantom of the Opera. Oh Boy :) I love musicals, merely because I cannot sing.

Older musicals, such as Easter Parade, My Fair Lady & The Tender Trap have suddenly become my favourite. Those films combine music & a love story very, very well. How can you go wrong with Frank Sinatra & Audrey Hepburn?

I went to see Fame at the shaftesbury theatre in London. It was AWESOME! It's got H from Steps in it (Ian Watkins) and Donna from Two pints of lager and a packet of crisps (Natalie Casey). :D When I went Ian wasn't there though, but it was still amazing, Natalie is hilarious and has an incredible voice, who would've thought!
The dancing was the most impressive part IMO. If anyone can get to see it you really should. Although it's only on until the end of august...

I really want to go and see Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, The Lion King, Wizard of Oz and We Will Rock You. I don't think I'll be able to see all of them do you? Billy Elliot is at the top of my list though, in theory the boy who plays Billy should be incredible right? :p I'd love to see that. :)

And what about Spring Awakening? A few friends of mine went and said it was great, but it sounds so... "eh" to me. Did any of you go see it? Did you like it?

You should totally pick up the soundtrack sometime, it's AMAZING! I haven't seen it yet, but I'd kill to. I love it. Love, love, love. Love.

Okay, I'm done. Sorry. *blushes*
