Ummm...when did this turn into a 'find Mac a woman' thread?:confused:

According to the spoilers for both episodes 1 and 2, from what I've seen, it looks like Danny may indeed be seeing Lindsay for who she really is. What is that? A self-centered spoiled brat who only thinks of herself. Episode 2 will have Danny in possible danger and it doesn't look like Lindsay *it's all about me* Monroe will be there for him again.

I love that he may change his mind about her but it's sad that she's that kind of person.

I'm just curious, but is there really a scene written up that is "spoiled" so far that has Danny and Lindsay in it together? I thought that there was no mention of them working together in the first episode..so I'm sort of confused how Danny will see Lindsay for who she really is?:confused:
 
^^Yes, there is in episode two. ;)

She whines around and refuses to show any support to two members of her team when they are in danger (one who happens to be Danny). That is as selfish as one can get in my opinion.

They may not have any scenes together in episode 1, I'm not totally sure. I can't remember.

I think Danny has already seen who Lindsay really is in the finale when she was all 'me, me, me' after he was hurt. How could anybody NOT ask him "Are you okay?" above anything else? Flack was more concerned with Danny than Lindsay was.

ETA: Keep in mind that anything can change before we see the show. So, who knows what will actually end up happening.
 
RE: Peyton: I'll grant you, Snow Day didn't give her the best part to play, (she had better in Comes Around for example) but overall I liked her this season. I'll just say, to each their own, and have done. We'll see what the new season brings.
 
Lindsay simply wasn't in the spoilers much--nor was Hawkes. :( Flack was kind of there, but not very much either.

The spoilers just don't always give a good overall idea of exactly what the episodes themselves will contain. It would be nice if we had a little idea about each of the characters and what they'd be up to, but we don't.

Several people have asked about D/L--I believe the two of them are present in the same scene at least once, when a group of them is discussing a case, but it didn't seem to be significant beyond that.

Yeah, I didn't like that. Two team members are in danger and Lindsay's response seemed to be about her being upset. Of course, like anything else, we won't know for sure how that scene will play out until the episode airs, and with several months before the premiere, much less the second episode, things could be quite different or get changed between now and then. :)

Personally, while I hope Danny and Lindsay fizzle quickly, there's really no concrete evidence either way for the first two episodes. *shrug*

We really don't know much about her new boyfriend other than he is hip and a forgery expert. He might not be a whacko. I'm sure there are going to be some complication. Of course he could end up dead like some Horatio's lovers. :eek: He might be Stella's male Marisol.

It's that behavior that I find so noxious from Lindsay. Lindsay gets sent to process evidence in a gruesome multiple murder? OMG, it's so unfair that Lindsay the new girl got sent back to the lab to do work and can't process at the scene. A young woman has been murdered? OMG, it's all about how Lindsay can't deal with the mother. Danny's been taken hostage and beaten, but OMG it's all about Lindsay's guilt over it. And now this spoiler where she "can't watch" Danny and Hawkes in danger. Why is it always about her???

So I wonder if it's that self-involvement that's going to lead Danny to conclude she's "not all [he] thought she would be," if the writers do go that way and have him get fed up. There's only so much selfishness a person can expect to take.

As for Stella...the idea that her new guy will turn out to be this show's Marisol could be right on target. I doubt he'll be another evil psycho, so instead he'll be a victim/saint. Well, better that than seeing Stella victimized again.

And YOU DO ADORE ME??? How much more blatantly manipulative and needy does this woman need to be? If I ever said that to my man, I'd tell him to run a mile...no, a marathon of miles...away. from. me. If she had a glimmer of warmth and genuine humour - like Stella, who has oodles - she could have pulled it off, and it would have been funny.

Claire Forlani can't leave soon enough for me. I hope Peyton gets a lecturing job in Outer Mongolia or has an ex-boyfriend/husband she decides to go back to - somewhere in Islington.

Couldnt have said it better myself. I didnt mind her up until now, but god she irritated the hell out of me in that ep. Between nearly getting him killed and the manipulative conversation about London I just wanted to scream. Plus there is NO WAY IN HELL that the Mac Taylor presented to us in the three seasons of NY would walk away from HIS lab and HIS people and leave them in that mess.

Sigh!

Someone not manipulative and needy would be my suggestion.

I would love to see Mac and Stella together but seeing how badly they have handled the others on the show I dont know if I would want them to go that route.

Wow, what a lovely welcome - thanks all! Not even a week into a Macless 8(?) months and it's killing me...

[Ravenwolf68, it sounds like you would like Mac and Stella togeather. Is there anyone else you would like to see him with either from CSI:NY or another show? Calleigh has been suggested. If you had to make up a new lover for Mac, what would she be like?]

I'm definitely a Mac/Stella fan. Calleigh? Hmmm, possibly. I think I'd like to see him with an equal: a strong, independent woman who's also found her vocation and understands why he does what he does...someone who's centred in herself, so she just *is* and isn't *trying*, if you see what I mean. Someone warm, funny, empathetic and able to help Mac take himself a bit less seriously and live life more.

Looks like we could be in for some arcing storylines like the miniature killer/Mala Noche - looking forward to it. Man, I may have to use my American passport to head home and visit in the early autumn. Just to take a tour of New England leaves, of course...taking time out for some telly on...26 Sept, was it?

There's a thought - I'm sure it's been answered, but can we download episodes here in the UK before they've premiered here, or are we blocked?

Flack have a new girl friends.
There are a lot of D/L in this episode
The story is about a murder in the Gang.
Stella and Flack work together. Danny and Lindsay work in another case.
Chief SInclair is in this episode. He's connected with a Gang's case.

Gaaahhhhh..........At last, Flack gets some lovin' I do hope they don't cast a simpering barbie as Flack's love interest. If they won't let him and Danny play together at least give him a real woman (see previous posts about Adam's love interest) to get to grips with, and maybe throw in a shower scene or two :rolleyes:
