In honor of Valera getting actual screen time this week (who else is counting down the days??) I decided to share this wickedly awesome picture of our lovely Boti.

Seriously...I've watched the promo a million times; I am super excited.

So um at IMDB Boti's not listed for anything post 2006... does this mean she's getting the axe? God, I hope not!

Nooooo!!!!!! She's not alowed to leave. What will we have left without her? Anyway, I'm sure she'll be back at some point. I doubt they're going to just forget about her. Although, with these writers... It's also possible, that they just don't have her up yet.

We should really change the title of this thread now. Valera was kicking ass and taking names tonight.

I loved her reaction to Natalia sleeping with Nick. She was all, "oh, no you di-in't!"

Valera kicked so much ass in tonight's episode. She rocked. I must say it was kinda of strange seeing her for more than an eye blink.

And yes, her reaction was priceless. I could totally see her and Nat in the parking lot getting into fistacuffs over him...

Natalia: "Oh, no...he's my man!"
Valera : [lunges] "Mine!"

Considering how soap-y Miami can be, it'd be fitting. Me-ow.

:lol: I must admit, I've never been a big fan of the name of this thread. I agree, time for a change. I think perhaps something about Attitude.

She was awsome last night. Totally kick ass. Her reaction to Nick and Natalia was priceless. I thought Boti did very well with the material she was given.
And the best part was... more than 30 seconds of screen time :D

I recently emailed Corey Miller with some questions about my ship, but I also threw a little paragraph about how great Boti is as well. Here's what he said about her in his reply:

'You can see if you watched last night's episode, that I too love Boti, and was happy to be given the storyline of her being involved with Nick's murder. It was great to get her out of the lab, and to have her play a pivotal role in an episode. Boti is such a great person, too, fun to work with, so that was a fun experience for me as well to work with her closely on the episode.'

Aww, that's sweet. It's a shame he didn't give any more information on her being involved in other larger parts of the show, or if there was a chance she may get added to the credits (another quesiton I asked, because really, she deserves it), but after a stunning review like that, you've gotta believe people are going to stand up and notice how awesome she is. Hopefully this will lead to more Valera screentime, hopefully to the point where she appears as much as Greggo did when he was a lab rat. Just thought I'd pass the info on. :)

Glad to hear Boti is appreciated! Thanks for sharing that with us. It gives me hope that she may ocasionally get more than 30seconds every few episodes.

It would be really awesome if yesterday's episode broke the floodgates of Valera screentime. She's such a pivital character and it would make me so mad that we'd only get to see her for approx. 2.5 seconds.

But yes, her reaction to whole Nat/Nick thing was priceless. Boti did an excellent job with the material. And while I adore Calleigh, I think Valera def. made her presence known in the "I am woman, hear me roar; I'll kick your ass!" department. :lol:

Well, I was glad to see Valera for longer then 2 seconds. But again she seemed so scared when she was talking to Vista about her 'Lunch date' and I'm all for Vista trying to protect Valera and everything but serisouly....she's a big girl i'm sure she could take care of herself.

I was happy with it on some levels, it just didn't go the way I thought it did. But when Valera told Horatio she killed him...ugh oh man I knew it was coming and I was like "Valera, don't. you. dare. Don't say it" and then she said it.

I know! I could feel it coming. I kept thinking, 'don't say anything stupid, don't say anything stupid'. Why does the tv never listen?

Oh... it was horrible to hear her say it.I literally screamed out "what!?" My mom taunted me, "I told you, I told you." For a good minute or two - or ten, I feared the worst. :(

I'm developing a massive crush on our sweet Maxine, and I really really wanted to go and hug her when she told H that "I did it." She's such a cutie.
