I have a woman crush on her. I would LOVE to see Marg in What a Pair! I'm sure it's just miles of smiles (ok, I come up with the lame ones when I'm sick!) and I'd probably sit there and grin like an idiot and slob....But seriously, it'd be awesome to see her.

ANYhoo, glad you feel better, Anne :) Unfortunately, I'M sick today...small off/on fever, congestion, veery sore throat, exhaustion/fatigue and a wonderfully runny nose...I. HATE. POLLEN. I always get this way when the seasons/allergens change- welcome to the happy world of an allergy sufferer. EW.

IDK if any of you got the new Season 9 DVD, but there's a deleted scene from "If I Had a Hammer" with Catherine and Ecklie. It's pretty decent, as Ecklie informs Catherine that Jeremy Kent is reopening the case, and they end up talking a little bit about how Catherine was pregnant with Lindsey and how Catherine had been trying to hide the fact she was pregnant until she was caught throwing up outside the crime scene, and how some old timer came up to her and said "You gotta toughen up sweetheart." Ecklie asked her if she would have enough time to catch up to speed, and Catherine replies in a way that only she can, lol.

There's another deleted scene from "Miscarriage of Justice" where Catherine has a kinda courtroom scene thingy with the DA, defense attorney, and judge. And in "The Gone Dead Train" there's a scene with Nick and Ray, and Nick's looking at his cell phone as Ray comes in and Nick goes "Catherine must be feeling better, she keeps texting me." And Ray replies, "She really is a tough guy."

Mmhmm! Well duh! lol

Just thought I'd share. I haven't really had time to look at all the other scenes/special features.
 
Thanks Katie. Those scenes sound really cute and sweet, especially the Cath/Ecklie one. They really should have aired it. It would have helped us know a little bit more about Catherine's past. :)
 
Oh, yeah, def. I loved "If I Had a Hammer" not just for the fabulous acting on Marg's part, but for the little bit of back history that they gave to us. Like, I found myself fascinated when she was telling Jim about nearly hitting the guy with her car. They throw these little things at us like Catherine was a stripper, yet they never really elaborate on them. I love hearing the stories of her and Eddie even if he was a jerk cause it gives us some insight as to who she is and what makes her tick. And even when Jeremy Kent was asking her about Eddie/if she was on drugs/Lindsey it was whoa.

On a side note, Marg is hot. <3

Thanks a lot for that, K. It was a great and funny interview. Of course my fave part was the part you quoted. lol. Heck yeah. Marg is definitely electric. She has the power to light up the whole place. :D
 
That made me laugh cause that's pretty much the same reaction that I have whenever I see a pic of Marg or see her in a video, lol.

Just stopping by before bed to post this:

CSI: The Experience is opening in Vegas at MGM Grand this coming Sunday. Red carpet on Saturday 7pm, cast members confirmed to attend: Marg, George Eads, Jorja Fox, Robert David Hall, David Berman, Liz Vassey, Eric Szmanda, Wallace Langham.

Hopefully there will be pretty pictures. *fingers crossed*
 
Oh WOW I would loooove to go! Too bad I live nowhere near Vegas ;p Dad used to go on business trips quite frequently but no longer does, otherwise I'd hitch a ride on purpose ;)
Hopefully we get some veeery Margalicous pictures out of this deal. I'd be VERY happy!!

As tempting as it is, I don't think my boss or credit card would appreciate it very much...

I hope Marg has TONS of fun though- maybe hang out with some fans or something ;) It'd be SO MUCH FUN if like, select people got to go through it with a CSI cast member ;p Although that'd cause chaos but it'd be a blast...Obviously it'd be a purely VIP thing- luck of the draw or bigger amounts of $$ for that opportunity but still. I'D go through with Marg....WHAT a trip!! LOL

I love Marg Helgenberger.
 
I was just watching ET and saw a preview of Marg, Laurence & others on the ET set singing the ET theme song with Mary Hart. They're going to be in-studio sometime next week.
