More Celebs Announced For Stand Up To Cancer Special
The Stars To Shine For A Great Cause.
More big-name celebs are set to appear on the Stand Up to Cancer fund-raiser, a star-studded TV special airing Sept. 5 at 8 p.m. on CBS, ABC and NBC.
The roster of stars includes Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, Jack Black, Abigail Breslin, Kate Bosworth, Sheryl Crow, Ellen DeGeneres, Melissa Etheridge, Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer Garner, Brad Garrett, Angie Harmon, Tony Hawk, Marg Helgenberger, Diane Keaton, Rob Lowe, Mandy Moore, Sharon Osbourne, Josh Peck, Mekhi Phifer, Keanu Reeves, Jimmy Smits, David Spade and Carrie Underwood, says USA Today.
Forbes came out with their list of the 20 top-earning women in prime time television, and Tyra Banks lives up to her namesake and banked an incredible $23 million last year. She was followed by Project Runway host Heidi Klum, who earned $14 million, while Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl brought in $13 million, and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria earned $9 million.
Maura Tierney (ER) earned $7.5 million, while Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order: SVU) took home $6.5 million last year, and Marg Helgenberger (CSI) earned $6 million. Both Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer) and Paula Abdul (American Idol) earned $5 million, and Tina Fey (30 Rock) took home $4.6 million. Vanessa Williams (Ugly Betty) was next on the list with $4.5 million, followed by Calista Flockhart (Brothers & Sisters) with $4 million and Kathryn Morris (Cold Case) with $3.9 million.
The ladies of Wisteria Lane did well (though not quite as well as Longoria) with Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives) earning $3.8 million and Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives) bringing home $3.7 million last year. Linda Cardellini (ER) and Melina Kanakaredes (CSI: New York) earned $3.5 million, while Patricia Arquette (Medium), Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy) and Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives) each earned $3.4 million.
