And how about a couple sequels??!?!?!?!?

Found this interesting tidbit during a general "Mr Brooks" search: A quote from Kevin Costner -
“I wasn’t dying to do a role like this. I’m not a guy that goes ‘Boo!’ But when I read it, I thought the writers found an amazing window into the subject matter. Now I feel this is as strong a performance as I’ve ever given,” Costner told EW. “This was written with the idea that we would do a couple others. When the writers first presented the notion to me, I said, ‘Oh, bulls—! I haven’t done Tin Cup 2, or Bull Durham 2, or Open Range: The Early Years, so you don’t have to try to hook me with that.’ But when they told me their idea, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. We’re hoping this little movie develops a following so we can play this story out the way it should.”


Now, they'd better make darn sure that MRS Brooks doesn't get killed off right away in the first one. A chance for Marg to reprise a role!?!?! *SQUEEEEE*

*ahem* okay, I'll hold off from any more squeeing until I see if the original actually is any good before I decide if there should be more (think Bad Boys & Species)

 

*snicker* Ahh, Species. I remember Marg's comments on that sequel. Something about how sitting through the viewing of it was a career low or something. ROFL

And I echo the "they better not kill Marg off" bit. I shall be extremely displeased if they do.

Maybe Marg and Demi join forces to save the day? Super Marg!

OH YEAH! I remember Marg on Species! When I was watching it, I was like, HEY WHAT'S CATHERINE DOING THERE? LOL. :lol:

Marg plays a scientist in there too, right?

 

She was Dr. Laura Baker in Species. yeah a scientist.

 

I don't really like the name Emma.
I imagine Emmas to be blonde (Damn Spice Girls).

I think the best names were Laura and Catherine.

 

I think I'll just stick with Karen. How many Karen's has she played? There was KC (Karen Charlene), there was Karen from ER, and there was Karen from Gold Coast. I like it when she plays Karen because all the Karen's are OMG so HOT.

I had the same thoughts when I saw Emma. :lol: I guess I'm biased when I say Catherine has been her best character name, seeing how CSI was what introduced me to Marg in the first place.

 

lol.. i get that. Same for me.

 

I understand that, Roy, I guess that's why I'm hooked to Karen. The first character played by Marg that I saw was KC on China Beach.

But yeah, Catherine is great, too. I think the name has some sort of a queen-like feeling and suits Marg really well.
