Well, that's what i thought at the end of Season 4.
Right now in Season 5 they seem to know very well their mutual feelings. Actually they "eat" each other with their eyes

Besides Mac made very clear his relationship with that annoying "HER" has already finished for good. Also i would like to know why she dumped him. That would be interesting to find out. Because her excuse to dump him was too loosy. Personally i think "SHE" dumped him because she :
-was too proud to accept Mac in love with somebody else
-since she knew he was in love she wanted to make things easier to everyone (it's a "generous" hypothesis
Maybe we'll get to see more SMacked scenes soon.

It's funny but i was watching Time's up few days ago and now I don't think she *read* the whole letter
The camera worked as Stella's eyes and she only *read* the last line

I also love that Mac and Stella stand up to each other and tell each other off when they do something wrong, but at the same time they help each other through their anger that is making them act that way.
Definitely YES. But you know, they are reaching the point when they must realize their feelings so the sexual tension will be stronger because they will be "concious" something new is happening about them and possibly their arguments will be stronger too.
That's what i think in special after that vid from Tv Guide "Fall Preview". They seemed to have a HUGE argument

Mac lets Stella adjust his tie. That is a very intimate gesture (as Lindsay said in People with Money) and something you only let someone you feel very comfortable around do. I bet Mac let Claire adjust his tie when they were married, and now the only woman he let do it was Stella. And this was in season 1 when Mac found it very hard to let anyone, especially a woman, be close to him like that.

!!!!!!!!! Nobody was so close to him 4 years ago like her. Not even Aiden (who had a wonderful father-daughter relationship with him). Even then, Stella was the only one who dared to tell him when he was out of line (i'm considering his mood those days). Of coruse that was mutual from the beginning

I never noticed that stella is looking at mac with THIS view all the time. it's really conspicuous!! a lot of smack looks! and a good case. they are so sweet and close when they are working together.

In the same way Blink was a Mac episode and Creatures of the night was for Stella, this eppy was the Mac/Stella eppy by excelence. Their dynamic was set from the very beginning but it was confirmed oçin this eppy. Also it was the beginning of a new life for Mac because she made him notice how much he needed to get back to live again
You can tell how much the case got into them, how much it affected them. Also you can see the intimicy of their relationship in those personal comments (in special when they were reading the book). *sigh i love so hard this episode....good times we still have because their relationship made itself stronger along all these years

That threesome scene was hilarious
Adam's face was priceless when Mac was "talking" to the suspect "I like waterfalls, don't you" :lol: and Stella was "Miss Flirtation" :lol: . Love Mac's answer "I don't need a backseat avatar" :lol: Also i love how worried was Stella was she heard the shooting (she thought Suspect X shot him) "Macccccc"
