Mac <3 Stella #18: Because she will find a way to her real love

Hey Family!

Ooohhh yes, I'm so with you guys. Nonchalance is NOT good. Sometimes it seems as if they are trying to avoid each other even if they don't. I really don't get it... they always seem to be so drawn to each other but lately it's the opposite It's almost as if the writers try to keep them distant on purpose but I just don't get WHY?!
And I really don't get the problem, I think if TPTB finally decide it's time for them to be a couple, there would be no difficulties. Gary and Melina's chemistry is so unique and simply amazing, so I'm very sure a Mac/Stella relationship wouldn't seem forced, awkward or rushed, it would only be natural. The way I see it their story would practically write itself and I don't think they would have to make much of an effort. That's why I'm also convinced that smacked love will be inevitable eventually. I mean, if TPTB wanted us to not want them together they should have thought about that from the start instead of hinting at their possible relationship from the very first episode on... and perhaps they should have hired actors with zero chemistry who hate each other. That definitely would make it easier to not ship them

I must agree there. THANK YOU ANTHONY!!!!! You couldn't have picked two better people to fill those roles. Seriously, could you imagine Stella or Mac being played by anyone else? I can't. The immense chemistry between Mac and Stella is what makes them the amazing couple they are :adore: I think it's one of the main reasons I loved this pairing from the beginning :adore:

I seriously hope there's more this season, because frankly, right now, we've had squat. I mean we had that GORGEOUS look in the first episode :adore: But nothing since then. Hopefully, this week will offer more.

Grounds For Deception is my favorite episode ... but two scenes that I think is very cute and revealing and makes me believe more and more that there is something other than a great friendship between Mac and Stella.

Admissions: Stella talks with Flack about the dead man and Mac comes in unannounced. When he and Stella both ask at the same time "Who discovered the body?", Stella turns around and smiles at him. Flack then says, "You two have been working together too long." at which they both smile.

What You See is What You See: Stella comes to Mac's office after their case with a tight black dress on. He looks her up and down and she asks if he likes it. Stella says offers to fix Mac's tie. Though instead of fixing the tie, Stella takes it off, making Mac blush embarrassedly. She tells him he needs to loosen up. She touches his cheek and says to have a good time

I definitely love these two scenes.

Other 2 weaknesses of mine. Admission because it fed certain dream we had here about "They are so living together" and 1.23 because the sexual tension was sooooooooooo obviousssssss even tough they had a date with different people I can't forget Stella's face when she realised Rose was talking about Mac when Rose talked to her about that guy she wanted to impress. Stella's face was memorable. Our Stella IS VERY jealous

Usually i am all excited (LOL you should ask Asprine what i have done when we used our earphones in the MSN ) but the mix between my studies and my natural impatience for getting Smacked and Stella moments maybe made me grumpy Now everything is ok

i got home from uni and stuck the tv on, one of our channels was showing csi:ny so i put it on to see which ep it would be - it was no good deed and i turned on just as that epic smacked scene where they discuss ella started. i was so pleased

LOL! when you say "outbreak" makes me remember for how long we called "Virus" to Virus Driscoll I can't remember it's that common inother cultures but in Latin American forum i have noticed we all use funny names when we get a "wanna-be-girlfriend" or wannabe- boyfriend and we all get upset and we "outbreak" when they are on screen In other cultures we are nuts, for us over reacted is like having breakfast every morning

do you really think Mac found out? It could explain why he was "Mr. Ice" when he met her . However it doesn't explain why Stella felt necessary to run to the former-Baby's-arms. I mean, for some reason she spent the night with Le Petit!!!!

I miss seeing them together, working together, the exchange of glances, the interaction between them. want Mac & Stella back. aiaia

That's why i thought when i watched 6.01. That something had happened between them that put them apart.

It's interesting to guess what could have happened that affected their relationship to that point Evidently they didn't argue about job stuff
And i really want to find the explanation this season

I found it especially strange because thsi is the SECOND time we got something like this (end of S2 and beginning of S3) For a moment we thought they were going to be together and then we woke up with Virus in 3.01

well we have to wait and see!

I was reading what you girls are saying and the fact is that we are missing a month from where the show was picked up, and not just a random month but one super emotionally charged with anger, sadness, fear.
A theory that I have is that Stella tried to reach out for Mac but Mac as naive and driven as he is (sometimes) he dismissed her. Then she tried again but he must have been deep in work trying to figure out who the killer was and I think he didn't even paid attention to her at all. Maybe Stella got hurt and the rest goes as we have seen in ep 1.
Do you remember Stella's facial expression when she entered Mac's office in ep 1? she was hesistant and was like she was testing the waters with Mac. To conclude we are missing something big here that has affected their relationship and I believe(and hope!!) that we will she it soon.

I agree with you and it will be very interesting to know what "missing scene" put them into the freezer I doubt their relationship is under risk. Their bond is too strong. I take it as a "lapsus" where they need time to realise they need each other!

I agree too, something must have happened and what Mary suspects sounds pretty much like the way it could have happened. It's annoying that we don't know what happened in that one month and that all we can do is speculate...

On a different note - yes, I could never imagine Mac and Stella being played by anyone else but Gary and Melina either!!

And Stella is a very jealous woman indeed. She's really bad at hiding her jealousy! We could see that with Rose and with Ella and we all know that she surely wasn't comfortable with the Virus-thing. Stella was always wearing her heart on her sleeve because she's just very emotinonal and she really wants Mac to know what he means to her. I think she just has a hard time voicing her feelings to him. She made a huge step in GFD and so Mac did! Him telling her "I care about you" is like "I love you" because let's face it, he tends to suck at expressing his feelings and he's always been a man of few words :lol:
Anyway, I don't quite know where I'm going with this, I just really want them to go back to how things were in and after GFD. They can't just go on like nothing happened and no matter what was going on in that one month we know nothing about, they need to find their way back to each other.

And did you notice in Epilouge when Hawkes and Stella came to the crime scene and were working on the "Vic" and Mac came walking in Hawkes kind of looked at him like "Oh boy Mac is ticked off". It seems everyone seemed on "pins and needles" except Adam... being goofy about pimping Dannys ride!:lol:
