where are you at STEPH? Are you in a charismatic coma over Adams "Turkey vulture impression? Showing us how mama vulture regergatates her meal for her young?? Danny enjoyed the reenactment I think:lol:

And how about the look exchanged by Mac and Stella when Adam referred to the "Horney landlord"
 *Rushes in* Wow, Lori Sweetie, I'm here, I'm here... I haven't actually seen the ep yet, but I'll get to watch it tommorow. I'm really looking forward to it, so glad to hear that we've had some awesome Smacked scenes. :adore: That's what I've missed all season. I'm really looking forward to seeing them having coffee, it sounds like a cute scene, I love how Mac is opening up to her. :adore: It sounds cute, even if he is telling her about Ella... At least he isn't keeping it from her... Oh, I'm just so happy that we have interaction between them again. :adore: The fact that it's outside of the lab is an added bonus. :D

Aww, and those Adam scenes sound really cute, I love to see him goofing around like that. :adore: I bet he was adorable. :D

Hope you're all well. *Hugs you all.*

Debbie, this is for you (and all my other SMacked family)

Can someone tell me WHY Mac and Stella aren't together at this point? And please! They are SO living together!

First, the Ying and Yang moment between them was priceless, just priceless. They compliment each other so well, they know each other too well (Mac even said that to her).

Stella knew Mac couldn't save Ella. She urged him not to, but why Mac was intent on doing so is beyond me. Maybe living with Stella ;) is changing him in some way. Mac is usually the one to say 'focus on the evidence' and Stella takes things a little more personal. (I watched Open and Shut the other day) It was a very nice roll reversal between them.

Loved the coffee scene as well. It's been a while since we have actually seen them out together (their annual date ;) ) I love how they can open up to each other. Mac felt comfortable enough to tell her about Ella. He could have just as easlily not mentioned Ella at all and hoped for the best.

what I'm hoping is that Stella will comfortable enough with Mac to tell him about the greek guy and her plans with Danny. I haven't read enough spoilers to know exactly what's going on,but I know Stella plans to go behind Mac's back about the greek guy. Am I right? I really hope she tells Mac before something else happens to her.

My favourite part was when he was like "I guess I just wanted to here it from you" (or something along the lines of this). It was finally a nice epsiode where Mac and Stella shared quite a few scenes together. Mac was finally smiling like a cutie who's having a good time. It is okay if the eyeball destroyed the coffee, it didn't stop their intimate scenes. Especially that talk with each other, Stella was warning him about how involved he was. When he thanked Stella, you could tell she was feeling really warm inside :). Finally a more smacked episode indeed.

I just read the review on the latest eppy. I totally agreed with the reviewer said about Mac. He's OOC since the beginning of S5, especially in this one. He even said 'boom'. He knew that freak is a problem. He already had Stella's advice. Why couldn't he ask Stella to go with him if he really wanted to help? If he introduced Stella to her, at least that freak could understand he's not interested in her except to help her. Now he's giving her wrong signals. :shifty:

Debbie,
the point here is i DO want he breaks her heart. I know it's sick but if she starts showing (as she did) she is affected by Mac's feelings for other people she will realize she has been in love with him for years:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:
I have to admit I want this too. They may not admit or realize what they really feel except they're in an extreme situation like that. :)

Hey Hip!!!!!!!!! I'm glad to have you back time to time. I think usual posters have fainted and remain on the floor with this Sweet Smacked unconciousness:lol:

I haven't been keeping up with NY spoilers. Is Mac and Ella supposed to develop into something? That last scene confused me, plus it would just be plain creepy :vulcan:.
mmmm i doubt it from Mac's side. He seems to be feeling a weakness for her but not in a romantic way:vulcan: I can't say the same regarding Ella's side. She is a psycho and at least they have decided to "cure" her miraculously she will be an issue. . You can't have a character being an insane girl in one eppy and the following one all healthy and ready to become into somebody's love interest. I wonder how Stella will react when she finds out

Thank you so much Ghawazee!

I totally agree. I think it means a lot the fact that he said he needed to hear it from her. Plus he smiled a lot during the episode which is not common and proves how relaxed and happy he is with Stella. Also I have to comment on her little smile when she left his office, so cute ;).

Hey SMACked Family!~ How are you guys?

I just read the review on the latest eppy. I totally agreed with the reviewer said about Mac. He's OOC since the beginning of S5, especially in this one. He even said 'boom'.

Okay, that was pretty funny. Lindsay said it in an earlier episode too. I think the writers are going to make it a running thing

Tex, Debbie, and Vave, I totally agree with the whole Stella's facial reaction thing. She is so showing that she's in love with him :adore: Her smile made ME smile :adore::adore::adore:

Anyone see that next week is a repeat? :scream::scream::scream::scream::scream: Didn't we just wait 2 weeks for an episode a little while ago? Why can't I have new stuff about both my fave ships in one week? :(

Have a good evening all,

Axel

I watched the scene at Mac's office again and again. I'm so convinced their real feelings are surfacing. That little smile on Stella's face was betraying her. And Mac said loud and clear that he only wanted those words from her melted me. That was the most sweetest moment we ever had in five years long. :adore::adore: *sigh* We don't have new eppy for the next week. That's killing me. I have to watch S1 to S4 again in order to kill my impatience. *sigh*

hiphugger17 and Axelsonfire,
I'm so envy of what's coming up for your the other ship. ;) Hope we smacked fans could have such a beautiful time very soon.

I agree that the role reversal is interesting, and I actually really like how they've been softening Mac up this season - reaching out to Flack and Hawkes and even Gillian. I like that he's apparantly starting to review the way he works cases, considering allowing his emotions to play more of a role. As for Ella, I like that he initially reached out to her and is trying to help her, but I do agree that him going to see her against Stella's advice is OOC, as is him not realizing she may be dangerous. That said, I think his intentions are good. I think it's more the writer's fault, they've decideded to soften him up and gone a little too fast a little too soon with the Ella situation. I think it would be better if we understood why Mac so desperately wants to help her. Some people might say it's a hero complex, but I think it's more than that, something personal from Mac's life. The reviewer also said maybe we're supposed to think Mac is reaching out to Ella because she's attractive, which I don't agree with, and maybe Stella thinks that too. I'm not sure about that, I think maybe Stella is uneasy about Mac hanging around any attractive women, unstable or not, but I think her concern comes more from that he's trying to save Ella and she's concerned that he will end up getting in trouble or hurt as a result.

But I think Mac's desire to save the world and help people, even people like Ella, is part of what makes Stella love him. It's part of what I love about the character. Just as her tendency to get emotionally involved in cases and her temper are part of what makes him love her. Hehe, it seems Stella and Mac are having big influences on each other - they're starting to act like each other with Mac getting emotionally involved and Stella pulling the boss role and telling him to look at the evidence.

Re OOC, I think only the Ella thing is a little OOC for Mac, but then Stella's going behind his back after Diakos, and Danny's leaving work to join the cop strike is OOC too. I really do like the softening we've seen in Mac this season though, and I think Stella has a big influence in that, he is softening up and happier because of her. I think maybe him almost dying at the beginning of s5 is a reason for it too, Stella changed in some big ways after Frankie almost killed her. Something like that can change how you think about things, and it can certainly make you act OOC. Maybe this stuff with Ella is the emotional consequences of what happened with Joe, remember one of the writers said we wouldn't see the effects immeadiately? I'd love to see Mac and Stella talk about that, and maybe have him confess he thought he might die and how scared he was. If he explained to Stella why he is thinking about changing the way he works cases, why he feels the need to reach out to Ella, she would understand. It would be a great character and a great Smacked scene too, maybe she would explain why she feels such a strong need to get Diakos.

I find it cute though how when they ignore each other's advice, they end up in potentially dangerous situations, just shows how much they need each other!

Oh, and Stella is definitely the only one who could ever tell Mac he can't save the world. I bet Claire told him the same thing when they were married.

but I think it's more than that, something personal from Mac's life.
Mac is softening and it is because he is so in love with Stella. She makes me crazy by not returning her affections but when Mac basiclly told Stella he wanted to here her point of view he was looking for affirmation from Stella not only for what is wanting to do but how he is changing his heart. Did you guys ever see "Pride and Predjudice"? When Mr Darcy falls in love with Elizabeth they had been at odds but he wanted her approvel and Love he began to show a softer side that she could not help fall in love with. It had always been there but he did not feel comfortable showing it kind of "putting your heart on your sleeve". Mac has been guarding his heart for Stella for fear of losing her but I think he cant hold off any more and I think even Stella is realizing that.

Wow! I loved the whole Stella and Mac dynamic this episode!
I mean it's like season 1 all over again, but somehow different in a hmm way. It's so true what a lot of you said. It's like their relationship at this point entered a totally different Smacked era - the shift from friendship to something more. Think Stella felt it too and it somehow surprised her how much she cared about Mac caring so much for Ella (Stella - HAHA it's as if the writers are trying to make her Stella's doppleganger and I still think it's no accident that her name is [St]Ella). Maybe that's why Mac want to help Ella so much? He sees there's some part of Stella in her and hates to see her so vulnerable.

The 'You really care for her'- from the way Stella delivered it-don't you think it's like she's wondering what makes her so special from all the other cases and the fact Mac's eyes shot up in interest towards the way she said it, made it different from a lot of Smacked scenes?
I thought most of the Smacked scenes 'back then' were warm and fuzzy but it felt nothing like this. This was totally different. She said it with connotations that's slightly saddening, entwinded with disappointment. Yet somehow in the mist of it all, intrigued with the idea Mac is more intouch with his human side since Claire, and asks for her advice to keep him focused-
'I just needed to hear it FROM YOU.'-is just awww!!
I seriously can't see Mac saying that to Ella. I think he's there to help her and nothing else. A romantic relationship?! I think Ella just needs someone to rely on and to be cared for and that's exactly what Mac's doing.

The conversation this ep made it seem like Stella felt Mac has the slightest thing for her- 'sounds like more than just a visit' and how Mac was saying she slit her wrist to get his attention and Stella was like 'damned if she didn't get it.' It's almost like Stella was implying something, but everytime Mac would give his reasonable reasons.

I like how Mac mentioned about him not believing in social workers and the emotional traumas enduced after what happened to Ella. It reminds me how Stella said to Mac 'I can't just sit there, and pour my heart out to some social worker' after the events of Frankie. I think it relates to Mac aswell- Claire. So they're both on the same boat.

The final pause of Stella's smile and her turing away from Mac to leave had so much to it! I don't really know how to explain that! A smile like THAT?! Bet the firefighter can't get that from her! :p

I loved the part where Adam said horny perp. The look Mac and Stella had were great and I missed that part about Smacked - the small looks and the inbetweens. I found it quite a laugh, also when Stella was jumping to conclusions asking Lindsay if she had a point in what she's saying and Mac was like 'Stella?! Be patient!'
The roles were totally reversed. You know what they say when people unintentionally starts to imitate one another. ;)
They actually turned themselves into the other person lol
Think the writers knows hom much we loved the line from Flack 'You guys have been working together for way too long' They sort of rubbed it in this episode and it was Sweeet!

Oh I'm not sure if this was deliberate, but it's interesting how Stella was taling about Flora falling inlove with John Pollack in the case and she hypothesises 'a change of heart?!' and it seems like she was looking at Mac haha
OooOo change of heart from Fireman to Marine :)

In a lot of ways I think Ella is a good thing. It makes them reflect on their lives and brings out a lot of unresolved/unknow emotions or underlying issues to the surface.

OMG!
Now that I have watched the whole epi: I LOVED IT!! Even the "OOC" end made sense to me.

This epi was basically the official return of smacked!! And I hope they keep it that way. I was like :drool::drool: drooling during their conversation at Mac's office. Aaahhhh!:drool::drool: Mac was so at ease - the tone of doubt in his voice, the expression on his face, the low speaking, putting his hand through his hair all the time (I wish it was Stella doing that!) - he seemed really vulnerable and who was the one he ran to for advice? STELLA! . I LOVED Stella's smile when she left the office, I loved Mac smiling when the eyeball fell into her coffee.

Mac:"...he came to her rescue. Sometimes that's enough to see the beauty behind the beast."
It's in this very moment that Stella becomes very thoughful and goes back to the unfinished Ella conversation. Notice that it was MAC'S phrase what actually lead Stella to resume the Ella subject. Stella knows that "he(Mac) came to her(Ella) rescue. Sometimes that's enough (for Ella) to see the beauty behind the beast (fall for Mac)". Stella is wise. She knows Ella is a crazy stalker chick, even before Mac told her.

Despite Stella's advice and the entire "reverse conversation", Mac went unprofessional and decided to cross the line, going to see Ella and invinting her out for a coffee. At first that might look "unsmacked" and OOC for Mac, but I actually think that's very significant smacked-wise! Because, by crossing the line and being emotional, Mac is putting himself into Stella's shoes. Of course he might not realize that yet, but he will, later ;). That might be an important factor of closure when Mac and Stella confront again later because of Diakos, and when they finally *sighs* get togheter. I actually think this whole OOC Ella thing might ultimately make smacked stronger. Mac crossed the line with Ella, Stella crossed the line with Diakos, Mac "played boss" with Stella regarding Diakos, Stella "played boss" with Mac advising him about Ella. That is- they're even. So, later, when both will need help in order to fix the things they screwed up for crossing the line, they will be there for eachother, and each other only.:adore::adore::adore:

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE MARRIAGE SCENE IN THE NEXT EPI YAY!!!!:drool::drool::drool:

Side note: I know this is the wrong thread, and I'm not D/L fan, but Danny talking about evidence with Lindsay's belly was hilarious. :) hehe

*waves* Hello:D
*off-topic* a few days ago i got some bad/creepy news from my mum, she was looking at a site where you can buy stuff that are used, and she was looking through something and she found something that was really creepy, i went to a psychologist before (wasn't crazy or anything, just had troubles since i had been home from school for a very long time awhile back and he helped me back on my feet) and my mum found my psychologist office stuff out on that site:( so she search alittle online and found out that he have past away:( it was really a shocking news to me, 'cause the last time i saw him he just had a cold:( it was creepy to find out this way, so i needed the smacked scenes that was this eppy, that made me more happy.. sorry to go off topic about it.. *on-topic*

i loved the new eppy, the smacked scenes:D i loved the face Mac had when that something falled in Stellas coffee cup:lol: cute, he laughed alittle and smiled:p and when Stella talked on Greek, he smiled, do you think he knew what she said?:p
that smile Stella had when she walked out of his office after the talk about Ella:D she smiled:D
and what was up with teh look they shared after Adam's kinky coment about the ''Horney landlord''? that was, and that coment im keeping to myself

it was great to se Mac go to Stella to get advice about what he should do about the Ella case, you could se that he was a little clueless about what he should do, so he went to the one person that could give him the answere he needed, Stella:D
Stella's wonderful smile after Mac said "I just needed to hear that from you" awwwwww

I love that smile, she know he needs her to give him advice when he need, like in a eppy when the taxi killer was out there, he asked Stella if they where going to find this guy,,

OMG! i soo love that smile:D it's great to se Mac smile more and joke around a little more, and that he looks more laid back is even more great:)

I know! that was a Gary smile, not just the normal Mac grin. I know Ella seems creepy, but you have to admit, her situation is bringing the light hearted side of Mac. You can see his paternal instincts come out and maybe Stella will make note of that. It really isn't out of character, it's just new. Remember when he carried that little girl out during RND? He didn't just put her down and say "Go to your parents" he placed her gently on the ground, brushed the hair out her face and made sure she was okay. He is a caring person and Stella knows that. She has been a witness to many of these moments. I just wish the whole Ella story was on better terms so that it wouldn't be so creepy. I really like Ella and I think she has a chance. Maybe because she is so close to my age, IDK. Mac still has a duty to the people of America. I mean, I would think him a little cold if he didn't do something afterwards. Like I said IDK. But I don't think we need to worry. I like this sweeter side of Mac. If he's willing to "cross-the-line" by reaching out to ella, what other new things will come? Maybe he has taken Ella has caught his slight attention because she has part of Stella's name.;) Besides, we've known the writers character for quite some time now. TPTB definitely has something in store and optimism has played out in our favor on more than one occasion.

Gio- I'm so sorry to hear that hon.:( He helped you out and now he's gone. I'm sorry you had to find out that way. :(:( *hugs*

*falls out of her chair laughing* Well at least we've got that gem of a scene... I didn't get a chance to watch 'cause I was late coming home from a night class and I missed the whole thing. Hopefully you guys will get me up to speed. From what you guys are saying, it looks like Mac oughta listen to Stella more often... let's hope that he does so next episode.

Thanks for the pics Rach, they are so cute. I guess this is another unofficial date to add to our list. :adore: Well, I just got around to watching the ep, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. :D There were so many great Smacked scenes, the coffee scene, even if an eye fell into Stella's coffee was cute, it was just nice to see them outside of the lab and chatting to one and other about things that they felt to be important, it was like back in the good old days. It's nice to see that he still shares everything with her. :adore: I also loved the scene in his office, it was nice to see him and Stella chat again, it was especially cute to see how she can bring him to his senses, she was quick to point out that he shouldn't act on his feelings in this situation... It was just nice to see them have a best friends moment, cause it's been a while since they've had one. Although it has just made me even more determined that they are destined to be more than friends... Hehe, like always, I'm staying optomistic. :D

Hehe, and on a random note, I loved Adam in that ep, as always, his scenes were cute, and he provided comedy, especially with his bird impression and speaking of the 'horney' landlord. He's so adorkable. :D

Hope you're all well. *Hugs*
