Believe me, this week has been PERFECT.I am going to start a new Nurse School (for my second level), on Monday i had House which was so Huddy that my heart stopped, then my pet is much better when i thought before i was going to loose him, I could see my old shipmates who i miss so much and in the last 24/48 hrs i became the happiest shipper on Earth and i became a NURSE at the same time. I think i need anotyher body to contain so much happiness

I think it means a lot the fact that he said he needed to hear it from her. Plus he smiled a lot during the episode which is not common and proves how relaxed and happy he is with Stella. Also I have to comment on her little smile when she left his office, so cute

when he said that my Stella almost fainted Her feelings in there when she left the office was SO EVIDENT. She can't deny her love for him!

Many people have critized him inside the Episode Discussion Thread because of this. But as i said in there, he never realized she was so dangerous. probably he idealized her. Or maybe Woman's instinct is stronger which made Stella realized first (you know men don't have this instinct and they are like cows. If they get the right shepperd they could be led to disaster (sorry it sounded feminist)

I think it's more than that, something personal from Mac's life

Mac is softening and it is because he is so in love with Stella.She makes me crazy by not returning her affections but when Mac basiclly told Stella he wanted to here her point of view he was looking for affirmation from Stella not only for what is wanting to do but how he is changing his heart. Did you guys ever see "Pride and Predjudice"? When Mr Darcy falls in love with Elizabeth they had been at odds but he wanted her approvel and Love he began to show a softer side that she could not help fall in love with. It had always been there but he did not feel comfortable showing it kind of "putting your heart on your sleeve". It's in this very moment that Stella becomes very thoughful and goes back to the unfinished Ella conversation. Notice that it was MAC'S phrase what actually lead Stella to resume the Ella subject. Stella knows that "he(Mac) came to her(Ella) rescue. Sometimes that's enough (for Ella) to see the beauty behind the beast (fall for Mac)". Stella is wise. She knows Ella is a crazy stalker chick, even before Mac told her

I must confess and i didn't hear it (darn noisy ciber caffe) but ITA with you that was the trigger which made Stella realized something was SO WRONG with Ella's behaviour! And love makes Stella more witty regarding Mac

That might be an important factor of closure when Mac and Stella confront again later because of Diakos, and when they finally *sighs* get togheter. I actually think this whole OOC Ella thing might ultimately make smacked stronger

Hmm...I didn't think of that. So Mac & Stella living together and they don't know what's going on in each others lives. I think they had a fight which caused them to turn to others (NIT & Fireman). So this is their reunion of sorts, they met up for coffee to make up and maybe he told her to come back to his place :devil: because he missed her. (Ok, so I am reaching, but a girl can dream right?)

:lol: Thank you Debbie. I've been saying that for a long time. They are living together. Maybe that's why Mac has become suddenly very mellow. Although I LOVE Angsty!Mac and Brooding!Mac, this mellow Mac is also very appealing. I guess that's what happens when he almost admits he's in love with her.

I also think back to My Name is Mac Taylor and their phone call. I don't have the exact quote, something about spending time with the people you care about. All their feelings and emotions were right there.... just in a very subtle way and I appreciate that.

i have only watched that episode once so i can't remember but the way they talked, how Stella told Mac the guy loved her...but the ending was confused i think. Because it could be understood in two ways: after that talk Stella spent time with AA (Adorkable Adam )

I guess it wopuld be one of those episode i will certainly tape from S5 (I have the hunch we will have more Smacked episodes. Be ready for everthing. This one was perfect. )
Also i like how they put the "Smackedness" in a subtle way. I mean, only a few of NON Smacked fans realized there was something under the surface of this eppy. And for me it was perfect because i feel it was designed for us in special Only us, Smacked Fans, after such a long time of enjoying and studying any single little reaction from them coudl noticed the real meaning of this episode It was PERFECT. No: It was PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT

I agree with you Debbie, the Smackedness that we've been having this year has been very subtle up until now, but it's eventually getting better, I really hope that after the last ep, things between them are going to go back to how they were in previous seasons, when they had a really close relationship, and shared everything with one and other, gosh, it would make me so happy if it were to go back to that kind of relationship between them. :adore: I'm on a total Smacked high right now. I'm just hoping that it continues for the rest of the season. :adore:

Mac does not even consider Ella dangerous. He is an ex-marine and in his eyes she is just a troubled young girl who is no physcial threat what so ever, as harmless as a little lamb. In the end she will not hurt him, Mac will hold his own and figure her out. Besides he sensed himself being followed in the grocery store remember? Marines have that "Sixth sense". It may take abit but he will catch on. I wonder if she trys to harm Stella? Oh Yea!

I think it had to do with the story he told Ella about his friend who told his brother he would be O.K. on the ice and then he fell through and drowned. How the friend felt so depressed and how Mac was able to help him with his kind words. He also knows that Ella is troubled from all that has happened to her. And after seeing people lose loved ones, like the lady losing her husband, just got Mac to the point too share some kind words to a "Troubled soul". And remember when he told Stella how helpless he felt when the towers fell and he could do nothing where here I think he feels by offering friendship he can prevent some tragic event .As he said she has been looking for someone or something even with both parents in her life.. Dont get me wrong I dont buy it for a moment but Mac does not know what we know! Unless he watches the show!!!!! And someone said they thought Mac was going to offer her a room but he would never do that to a mere aquaintence, and besides he does not have any more rooms available

Stella asking Mac something like "You haven't called in a month." Totally blew me away, no idea why though. Maybe because that could indicate that something happened between them indeed. Maybe they've been living together and Stella moved out after the fight, but in the end they did make uo...a girl can dream right? :lol:
Mac's face when that eyeball dropped into Stella's coffee was priceless, I also loved the conversation they had evern though it was a little bit too short, I think.
I still have to watch the rest of the ep and then I'll come back and rant about Ella...:scream:

I watched the episode. It's so beautifull, so smacked. I love it.
I love Stella smile at the end of the office's scene. I really have the feeling during this scene that Stella is in love with mac and that she really enjoy about what he say. He clearly say that he so confirdent about her and he need her advice. Only her. No She, redhead, laydymajor or she nit. He needs Stella advice. Well the first scene is so great because they laught and mac seems so great, have fun... But the Stella smile in the office scene say a lot and is so beautifull.

Gosh, 5.16 was really cute, I just love the direction that their relationship is going in after that ep, it seems as if they are just going back to how things used to be, when they shared everything and were always there and accountable for one and other. :adore: We know that Mac has shared with Stella about his issues with Ella, now I'm hoping that we'll get to see Stella share with Mac about Diakos, that would be great, then they'd have nothing hidden from one and other, and things would be as they used to. :adore:

i think his emotions are clouding that sixth sense. He feels pity for her and he wants she can recover. He only wants to make things right with her but Stella was right "you can't save the world". It's something i understand as part of a world when you are envolved with people, you want to make things right for the patients but if you are too close, you get hurt because not always you have a good result. And a "Burn out" syndrome is part of your life. Mac can't cross that line anymore. He can't continue connected to solved cases no matter what he wants things change for people affected there. Again such a wise remark "What's next"

I wonder if she trys to harm Stella? Oh Yea!

AWWww i 'd LOVE that. I don't know ifwe are going to have Ella this season because there are a lot of storylines going on at the same time. But "The return of Ella" might be such source of Smackeness i would want that storyline NOW!

i think i have the explanation for this: i believe Stella was referring to the night Ella tried (or pretend) to kill herself. Stella had the night shift, remember? She stayed at the lab with Adam in that lovely scene meanwhile Mac saved Ella and took her to the ER. That's why she asked him why he didn't call her well, you know...we are Smacked...we can find a good excuse under stones :lol:

Despite Stella's advice and the entire "reverse conversation", Mac went unprofessional and decided to cross the line, going to see Ella and invinting her out for a coffee. At first that might look "unsmacked" and OOC for Mac, but I actually think that's very significant smacked-wise! Because, by crossing the line and being emotional, Mac is putting himself into Stella's shoes. Of course he might not realize that yet, but he will, later . That might be an important factor of closure when Mac and Stella confront again later because of Diakos, and when they finally *sighs* get togheter. I actually think this whole OOC Ella thing might ultimately make smacked stronger. Mac crossed the line with Ella, Stella crossed the line with Diakos, Mac "played boss" with Stella regarding Diakos, Stella "played boss" with Mac advising him about Ella. That is- they're even. So, later, when both will need help in order to fix the things they screwed up for crossing the line, they will be there for eachother, and each other only.:adore::adore::adore:

And that is a great smile! It's amazing to see how far Mac's come from first season where he didn't smile very much at all. Well, only Stella and occasionally another one of the team members could make him smile.

*off-topic* a few days ago i got some bad/creepy news from my mum, she was looking at a site where you can buy stuff that are used, and she was looking through something and she found something that was really creepy, i went to a psychologist before (wasn't crazy or anything, just had troubles since i had been home from school for a very long time awhile back and he helped me back on my feet) and my mum found my psychologist office stuff out on that site so she search alittle online and found out that he have past away it was really a shocking news to me, 'cause the last time i saw him he just had a cold it was creepy to find out this way, so i needed the smacked scenes that was this eppy, that made me more happy.. sorry to go off topic about it.. *on-topic*
