Oh my god, she's so beautiful! Thanks for the pics. I really want to see the movie now.

My bad, explains quite a bit.It was originally planned to be two 90 minute episodes, and hence they cut plenty of it out. Would probably have been better as two 60 minute episodes.
I think that was what confused me when I was half-watching it. The direction required quite a bit of concentration by the viewer. It was like NYPD Blue helmed by someone with autism.
I'd agree with those kind of figures, especially as the Bank Holiday was a washout for a lot of people. Not great considering the competition.According to MediaGuardian it only got 3.6 million viewers and a 14% share so it would be surprising if they continued with it.
It is a flash back. Costello didn't listen to Jude so she went off on her own, found the bride but got caught by the killer. So he moved the bride (George said that the plaster was recent) after he killed Jude. That's why they spent the last half hour going 'Where's Jude?'. Its a flashback from when she stormed out after yelling at Costello to when Dovery caught her. When they say they've found another body that is who they find. The call that Kay gets at the end is Costello telling her that Jude's dead. That's the payoff for us already knowing who the killer is - it's not whodunnit but what happened to Jude that is supposed to be the big mystery. Bizarre kind of twist but I knew something was going to happen when Jude disappeared after she stormed out and no one could get a hold of her.
Exactly, she was like a little girl. I watched it several times, too, I'll have to screencap it at some point.
I also listened to the first part of that radio programme 20th Century Vampire (Drumchik, I never thanked you for the info). I made a recording, so if anyone would like to have it, you can PM me. It's around 26MB.
