Re: Sofia Curtis

Taz love when you post her in that tough cop mode.
Some of my favorite pictures of her.

Speaking of her cop/detective status, I am trying a new approach over at my LJ. You can find the link in my profile here on talk. Highlighting things Sofia would really have to face in her field. Think you will find things very interesting. Always great to learn something new everyday.

Arturtle great job on the screencaps. I am fond of this picture of her in the "Unusual Suspects". She is the picture of professional, yet maintains that sex appeal men go nuts over.

Re: Sofia Curtis

Sofia is great about walking that line between professionalism and a confident, sexy woman.

Like telling your new co-worker you're not wearing panties? Only Sofia - lol.

Frankly I can't see how anyone took issue with her interrogation cleavage (lol) in Up In Smoke - she did everything she could to work that case, and if you've got a body that good - well then why not?

Re: Sofia Curtis

Attention

As you can see the new "Help Guide" is up, in it contains the sizes of pictures that can be posted, BUT you can also find the information updated in the "First Post" on "Page one" of this thread as well.

Thank you. ;)

Re: Sofia Curtis

Ouh? Size of pictures have to be downsized? Hmm, thanks for the info Destiny.

Unusual Suspect haven't aired here yet. I'm still waiting for 'A Bullet Runs Through Pt2'. I wonder what's going to happen. I'm really anxious to find out what they'll ask Sofia.

Oh, the excitement of watching new C.S.I episodes. I think ABRTI 1&2 really changed how alot of people saw Sofia. I loved her from the first time she appeared on the T.V. screen.
Just the sassiness and no nonsense attitude she first showed in the elevator with Gil sold me. I knew right then she was going to turn everyone's worlds topsy turvy. :p

Re: Sofia Curtis

I really agree, LadySaraButterfly - I think a lot of people dismissed Sofia, but she got a chance to be very vulnerable and sensitive in that episode, and it changed peoples' opinions.

I mean, I think people were seeing her as the "agressor" a lot of the time, but when she's crying and asking for support and other people are telling her to leave... you definitely got, for the first time, that sense of Sofia the Victim.

Actually not really before they were listed as Med=Thumbnail, and small= Avatar. Now they are listed as Med 130x130 and small 115x115. (most avatars are 100x100 so its a tad larger there), and the max pic size has remained the same as before. Hope this helps. ;)

Same here, I fell in love with Sofia in first sight. Her quick quips in 'Formalities' such as the underwear statement and the 'white noise' remarks towards Grissom kept me laughing and that's what made me a fan of her. :D

Casper! You're going to love ABRTI, P1 & 2!! :D

Re: Sofia Curtis

Ohh! It's Tuesday and the new season of NY will air today on AXN. Tomorrow will be the continuation of 'ABRTI'. Ah! I can't wait.

I was actually a closet fan of Sofia when I first saw her in 'Formalities'. I wasn't anything but a hopeless romantic, for my eyes couldn't help but stray to her each time she comes on screen. That golden hair...*dreams**

I know it should have been Cath or Sara or some other main character but...she seem to have that...special something. Must have been the way she walked. 'ABRTI' did not change the way I think of her. Instead, it made my admiration for her grow drastically. Opened my eyes to the things I've missed before like the way she talks with that short-tongue accent of hers! Truly, I am ready to spend a lovely evening with the one and only, Sofia Curtis... *whistles*

Re: Sofia Curtis

Well I was a Sofia fan since Moment One and never made no bones about it despite all the negative bashing that many fans throw out.

She is kick-ass, beautiful, smart, sassy and has a moral compass that is unyielding.

Viva Sofia Baby!

Re: Sofia Curtis

I'm back, I'm back! And here you all thought you had been rid of me...no such luck, Bwahaha!! :D

Loved Sofia in last week's eppy. What a rare treat to actually see her in the opening scene! Thought she was great, and she obviously wasn't fooled by the Genius Girl. More later, have to run to work. Missed y'all!

The thing is, that Sofia just doesn't have all of that baggage and she's not whinny - she's just this really strong, independant woman who's not afraid to tell a man she's into him, and not afraid to walk on the wrong side of the law if it's necessary to the case - I mean, so what if she's breaking a couple of regulations? She was trying to help Grissom with his investigation - you don't need a shrink, you need a friend.

And I'm so glad that she wasn't the one who shot the cop, because as much as I love Brass, I want Sofia to remain the strong, kick-ass, angst-free woman that she is.

And now that other characters aren't picking petty fights with her by avoiding her calls or something, she's able to fit right back into the groove.

I thought it was great how she was with the girl - very sympathetic, and yet wasn't willing to fall for what she was putting out.

I do miss her as a CSI sometimes - I'm sure she would've cracked that case had she been assigned.

Re: Sofia Curtis

hi everyone. I've just come to profess my love for the great woman. She's a walking contradiction, gentle and strong, at the same time.

The icons are fabulous. I think I'm gonna try my hand at making more art about her too. (ohh, i'm a fan artist) Hello too to my fellow Asians!

Re: Sofia Curtis

Welcome Cara*waves back* I'm an Asian myself :D. Yes, those words are true. Hehe, probably the main reason why so many adore her.

^^ I agree. She might not have to be the whole package. In fact, I think that would be one of her traits. She's not always the center of attention but she's there..somewhere in the beackground. And whenever she does step out from the shadows, she shines! I really can't wait for ABRTI anymore. Driving me nuts! I am glad she's different. It was pretty much shocking to see her, so helpless in ABRTI prt 1. I've never seen her so vulnerable and almost speechless. Louis truly brought out a different side of that character. How her voice cracked under pressure. My gosh...so intense! Need...more....Sofia...screen time...!!

Re: Sofia Curtis

*waves* and true, we do need more AIRTIME! TPTB! Hear us, we hold your ratings, you!

I truly love her presence. ABRTI in a few more hours...
