We've heard from various sources that Louie is , in fact, alive. So, on that basis, yes, I would have expected much more of a violent reaction from Danny. It seemed to be the sort of scene that would have benefitted from a worked up Danny getting in the older brothers face, shoving him up against the wall and forcing him to have a good long think about what he'd done. Maybe not drawing comparisons, but making him realise that life is too precious to take someone elses, especially your brothers, and that whatever happens you stick up for your own. Like Louie did for him. I really didn't anticipate the show of sympathy in letting him have those 10 minutes, I really didn't think he would have done that. I half expected a line like.."You gave up that right when you gave up on him..."
The ten minutes Danny gave the elder brother kinda flattened the ending for me. I really did expect a really strong show of anger from Danny and felt a little cheated when it ended the way it did.
But then again, the way they've had Danny smacked down, emasculated and playing lost puppy this season, should I really have been that surprised
Now, if we'd had season 1 Danny in that situation, I'm sure I'd have been a whole lot happier with it.
