Lindsay Love Thread

I completely agree with Lindsay possibly having older, protective brothers that picked on her (which would explain her never-give-up, tough exterior around male colleagues), even though a small part of me wants her to have a younger sister after reading audrina's Beneath the Surface.

I just noticed this, you're so sweet! I was actually thinking of doing a one-shot sequel with Beth. BACK ON TOPIC!! I think Lindsay definitely has Daddy issues. My guess on her attitude is that she felt confined by her small town and wanted to test herself - where better than NY?

Since I don't feel like making a poll. Pick a letter.

Which do you think is Lindsay's bloody secret

A. Has to do with her father.
B. Has to do with her parents.
C. Has to do with her brother(s)
D. Has to do with one or more then one person in her family.
E. Has to do with a family friend.
F. Other.

Yes you may chose more then one, if possible. :D

I say A (Dad) or C (Brother). Can't decide. Maybe one was a cop and they got killed. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM that's only my opinion.

Kelleigh--I haven't seen you in a while. Good to see you here! :D

I chose 'other': I think it has to do with more than one friend. I really believe that this was something horrible that changed her life completely. She once commented in "MM" that she had seen something worse than the 'pharm' party. Maybe that had something to do with a case that she worked, I'm not sure, but it's possible that it has something to do with her secret. ;)

A little Lindsay love

hm..awesome picture Audacity

I would have to say it would have to do with more than...6 bodies?....She said she's seen more blood than that right?..Or a member of her family was murdered in a group?..

If it had been solely been a case that she has worked on, what drove her to become a cop?

Kinda off topic but not really...In CSI-Land, do you have to spend time in uniform before becoming a CSI? It seems to be different in all three series.

LV: they say they're 'cops' sometimes. I don't recall seeing any kind of mention other than they're scientists with guns.

MIAMI: don't watch it..but not sure what their system is

NY: It seems like ALL have spent time in uni's. Except for Hawkes who obviously has other merit to join Mac's team.

Or maybe I'm reading wrong into it.

Your thoughts?

In LV, the CSIs are civilians, not cops.

In both Miami and NY, they are actually cops (and this does mirror RL). I don't know if they have to spend time in uniform or not. In Miami it seems that they do, because it has been mentioned about Calleigh being on patrol, Ryan came from patrol, and Eric was with the PD before being hired by Horatio.
There's no specific mention of it on NY, though. The bios on cbs.com mention about Mac and Stella rising through the ranks of the NYPD, however, they aren't always accurate.

I think Lindsay could have been an affective patrol cop, because of her physical nature, whether she was or not.

I could see D (one of her family members. maybe a cousin) or E (friend of the family) so I guess that really means I pick F (other).

Oh boy, I can't pick. But if I really had to, I'd say D er E.

And feenx, don't worry it's not weird because she's not just pretty. :D

IIRC, there was a case in Canada where a few RCMP officers were killed in a drug bust. Keeping the uniformed brother in mind, maybe his death was a part of a larger case?

Like pizzapie said, CSIs in Vegas are civilians. In New York and Miami, they are detectives. In real life, CSIs don't carry guns, though these are procedural dramas and there are several other inaccuracies. They have all probably spent some time in uniform, whether in the academy and patrol, or another unit.

feenx, I love the animated banner in your sig. It's hilarious.
