#3- Too blury and a little over sharpened

#2- a little blury, and light

#11- The icon is to bright, and the color of the face is odd


Best

#5- I love the red and blue coloring, and it's very clear

#6- Again the red and blue effect is great, the whole icon just fits perfectly

It's always for me very hard!

Least:
9 - is very blurry, Stella's face looks unnatural abd planar
5 - this red sofa behind Stella's back is taking away attention
6 - effect of the red text on the blue background is not so clear

Best:
3 - very fairy colours but here it fits, nice cropping
2 - again nice fairy colours and good cropping

If this is wrong, my bad i will correct it, but isnt this chal supposed to be blue and red mainly, i dont see these colours in this one

you don't have to correct it :) i just want to say that the icon does follow the rules of the challenge, although barely (i would've got back to the icon-maker if there was a problem.) both required colors have been incorporated, even though they are very subtle.

however i'm not going to accept the icon-maker didn't follow the rules reasoning or similar as the only one pointed out. so if anybody based their choice on this single aspect, and nothing else besides it, please add something to it, or change your vote. thank you :)

I tried to post my votes before, but it said "internal server error" or something like that. Let's see if I can remember what I said before. :lol:

Least:

04- Eric's head is cut off too much. I do like the subtle use of the theme. The slight red on Calleigh's face and the blue in Eric's shirt. Very nicely done.
03- Over-sharpened - it blurs their faces. I do like the text though.
06- Lovely icon, but the text is a little blurry.

Best:

10 - Love the blue & red background behind the text. Pretty font too.
05- I love the way the colors are incorporated in this icon. And the font fits nicely with the icon too.

03 - The color is quite odd and the text "Friends" is not very visible.
09 - Lack of levels. There's no contrast between Stella's nose and her cheeks.
06 - The image is a bit oversharpened.

08 - Very well done! I love how you incorporate the theme and the textures/brushes! :D
05 - Simple but eye-catching. :)

10- blurry, contrast is missing
2 - too blurry, his face is too brightly

4 - nice simply cropping
5 - very good coloring, nice font and cropping

9 -Stella's hair is too redish
1 - again the hue is off

3 -excellent cropping and soft touches

least quality:
9 is somewhat blurry

11 is too bright

3 the orange color overpowers the skin tone of both subjects



best quality:
5 the coloring is vivid and contained to the original areas, defining Stella and the other objects in the icon well

4 is simple and pretty, and the red and blue coloring is subtle and doesn't distract from the icon

01: The icon is too dark
09: Too blurry. Stella's face has no detail in it at all.
05: The red behind Stella seems out of place and distracting.

Best:
07: This is the first icon that caught my attention. Beautiful colouring
11: Beautiful colouring nice crop :)
