Life Changing Events (Snicker RP)

Soon, Nick and Sara were both lost in the moment and they had no idea what time it was or how long they had been in the office. Nick continued to kiss her like there was no tomorrow.
 
Sara stopped him midkiss "as much as i'm enjoying this we did come here for a reason *She smirks* besides of course work we need to go find the Sherriff"
 
Nick stopped and looked at her. He discovered that they were now on the floor of the office behind a desk. He had no recollection of even sitting down.
"Oh...right. I guess we should go find the sherriff, then."
 
Grissom sighed but smiled. "Being no longer single is actually pretty good..." He was feeling comfortable again but tensed up when Catherine's cell phone rang.
 
Sara helped Nick up as they went to go find Sherrif Atwater "I hope he'll help us, he's always liked us and hated Ecklie Maybe he'll be understanding of our situation"
 
Catherine laughed a little at Grissom's reaction to her phone. "Calm down hun, it's not like she's going to eat you or anything." she said with a smile. She opened her phone and said "hello" as she reached for Grissom's hand and held it tight.
 
"Hey mom. You can come pick me up now. We're at the scout center. You know where." Lindsey hung up.

Grissom looked at her, waiting until she finished. "So we're going now?" He squeezed her hand for comfort.
 
Catherine nodded and kissed her gently. "Calm down, your going to be fine." she said with a smile as she walked to the car with him. She got into the drivers seat and waited until Grissom got into the passengers seat before turning on the ignition and driving off.

"So, where can we find this kind man?" Nick walked out of the office and they began to search for the Sheriff
 
They Found him in the Trace Lab by chance Sara smiled as she walked up to him "Just the person we were Looking for"
the Sheriff looked from Nick to Sara noticing they were holding hands, apparently the rumors had been true "We?" he questioned
Sara smiled she wasnt good with people Even if it was the Sheriff and He did like them ,she looked at Nick silently asking him to tell the Sheriff thier story
 
(I guess I can play the sheriff! :D)

Lindsey waited impatiently at the center. When she finally spotted her mom's SUV she ran out, waving goodbye to her fellow scouts.

"Hey mom." She noticed Grissom in the passenger seat. That's where she was supposed to sit!
"Uncle Gil, what are you doing here?"
He looked over at Catherine, unsure of what to say.
 
"Hey Linds. Grissom's here for the ride, we're kind of...dating." she said shyly. "We can talk about it when we get home okay?" Cath said as she waited for Lindsey to get into the car and then drove off. She didn't really know what Lindsey would say about her dating Gil. She knew that she always liked Grissom, but she wasn't sure if she would like him as a father. She hoped that she was okay with it.
 
Nick mentally rolled his eyes. He was nervous about trying to tell the sherriff what their situation was. "Well, Sherriff, you see....Ecklie wants to transfer Sara to another shift so we wont be able to work together anymore and we were wondering if you could help us change his mind." He glanced at Sara waiting for a nod of approval.
 
The sheriff looked a little confused, "Well, did he give a specific reason regarding the transfer?"

Lindsey sat in the back seat feeling all these different feelings: surprise, bewilderment, sadness, and a hint of betrayal. But she didn't say anythng yet... besides her mother looked happy enough.

Grissom saw the young girl sulking and cleared his throat.
"Perhaps I should leave," he pointed out a street, "We're close to my house - I should leave you two alone."
 
(Hestia that would be great I was kind of hoping that Nick and Sara could work together again cause that would be a IN YOUR FACE sort of thing to Ecklie and *smirks* Just FYI I may have to borrow Lindsey for a few secs if thats cool with you)
Sara looked at the sheriff as she sighed nervously "well heres the thing the Rumors about Nick and I they are true ,we are together and I am carrying his child But I've looked at the Lab employee hand book and theres nothing in it about dating a coworker *She looks at the Sheriff pleadingly* He claims that its because we had relations here at work But we didnt really we swear *she glanced at Nick she knew they were lying just a little but if it meant getting her Job back she was okay with it* So can You help us?"

Lindsey looked at her Mother she was a little upset and a little confused How long had this been going on and why did her Mother keep it from her, she frowned "I need to call Aunt Sara" Not that it would help her any but she was always there for he when Her Mother made her mad Truth be told her "Aunt Sara" was more like the Sister she never had then anything else
