I have to say that I really loved him in his four CSI episodes. I didn't much care for the backstory or his death, but I think he came in and fit in extremely well right away and worked well with the team as an equal...didn't take over nor was he a "newbie". It was seamless. However it was they handled that...the writers or directors or what...I wish they would continue to introduce new characters that way.
Yeah, I really liked him. At first I was like what's the point in bringing him in but he really became a part of the CSI family. It killed me when he died! I knew him and Catherine had a thing for each other, even if it wasn't said. I'm glad Grissom was there to comfort Catherine when she was upset.
