(whoa, are you sticking me with the role of the girl?) Nick crouched down and looked into the girls eyes, "come here, i'll put you on the couch" he said putting his arms out to pick her up.
Sara stepped in front of him. "Hi, my name's Sara, and this is my friend, Nick. Don't be scared. We're here to help."
(PANIC! ARE YOU LEAVING ME WITH THE ROLE OF THE LITTLE GIRL?) The little girl sniffled. Nick picked her up and placed her down on the couch and looked at Sara. "its ok, why dont you tell us what happened?" he asked.
"Well, my mommy was hurt, and I was scared, so I ran. My auntie said we needed to find someone who could help." Sara held her close. "It's ok .Go on."
Looking intently down at an armfull of overdue paperwork, Gil Grissom walked down the long hallway of the labs, nodding to people as he passed, enveloped in all the work that needed to be done and no time to do it in. Walking by a room, he heard sniffling and got a passerby look at Nick standing by the door. Stopping, he turned around and walked in the door, knocking on the doorframe as he entered. Sara sat on the couch with a small girl and Nick stood nearby. The girl seemed terrified. "Hey, what's going on?" He directed the question towards Nick, watching the scene before him, especially the little girl.
Nick got up and went towards gill. "well, sara and i heard someone crying, so we followed to noice, and found her!" he said. "still trying to find out why she's here though." he said. Nick then walked back to the little girl and asked. "whats your name... do you have any parents around?"
Grissom nodded his head, and set the paperwork down on a table nearby and crouched next to Nick. "I'm just a friend of Nick and Sara. I'm Gil." He smiled, his eyes sparkling as he tried to befriend her and turned to Sara, whispering. "I'm going to leave the room since she seems a little uncomfortable. As soon as you get anything, get me. I'll be in the hallway." Without waiting for confirmation he stood up, smiled at the girl again, and grabbed his paperwork as he walked out. Standing against the wall, trying to fill out some of the paperwork as Sara and Nick pressed the girl gently for answers, something clicked in his head, causing him to look up. Exactly why were Sara and Nick together anyway if they were on seperate cases? ((Are we going to be starting any ships? ))
We can go GSR/Snicker triagle if you guys are up for it. Sara moved toward Olivia. "Gil won't hurt you. He maylook big, but he's friendly."
Catherine walked down the corridor and was surprised to see Grissom leaning on a wall doing paperwork. "Hey, what you doin out here" she said flicking back her hair. (hi was that any good, never done one before, feel free to ignore it if it sucks )
