Let Love In - A CSX RP

When they reached the crime scene, Nick parked the truck and looked to Catherine. "So.. Kitchen.. Knives. If the place is orderly, there should be a knife holder or drawer, right?"
 
Catherine nodded, and started to search for a knife drawer, and opened one of the drawers, "This looks like blood"
 
Nick snapped a picture before he took out a swab and tested it for blood. "That.. is affirmative," Nick replied, peering inside the drawer to see the chopping knife missing. "Coincidence?"
 
Nick walked over to the dish washer, opening it and looking through the racks for the knife. "It's possible they tossed it.." he said.
 
Catherine found a weird looking pointing thing sticking out of the corner of the stool, and tried to pull it out, but it wouldn't because her gloves were sticky, and started to take off her gloves, "Fine then, I'll get you outta there one way or another!"
 
Nick looked over, seeing Catherine starting to take off her gloves. "Cath? Have you forgotten protocol or something?" Nick asked, walking over and setting a hand on her arm gently.
 
"..Well you don't risk contaminating evidence over that.. you go to plan B," Nick grinned. "Take the whole damn thing," he finished, snapping a picture of her and soon took pictures of the stool. "We'll break it open at the lab if we have to."
 
"A little cranky today, miss?" Nick teased a bit, leaning over to kiss her cheek. "We'll be done soon," he reassured her. "So.. what about this stool caught your eye?"
 
Catherine pointed at the sharp thing at the edge, "Could be the knife trapped in there, What do you think?" She said looking up at him.
