i'm going to be a little ticked while he's gone. but than hopefully we'll see more into other things.

I noticed that too. Kinda looked like a organ transplant box as well.

awww, that is too bad, he looks WAY better without it...the beard makes him look at least 5 years older...

Pretty sure she means Nick was able to grow a 'stache in the span of week (last season). One episode he didn't have one but the next episode he did. So, it's plausible for Griss to have a beard after four eps.
 
Just because Grissom has a beard in four episodes does not mean that four weeks has passed. The story lines are not the same as real time. For example, when DNA tests are finished in minutes of the show, days could have passed.

He performed in a play, I think it was in Chicago, when those episodes were filmed. It was mentioned in the news items on this board.

It was in Providence, Rhode Island, and called "Dublin Carol" and he'll be back filming CSI probably soon for the Feb. eps. his play ends Jan. 7 ;)
 
vegaslights, as allstar12 said, I meant Nick grew a moustache in one episode in season 6. I'm sorry if I frightened you with more creepy visions of Nick and a furry thing above his lip. xD

Exactly. One season is supposed to be one year right?
 
The amount of days to film one episode varies, but the average is eight days of shooting, then take into consideration retakes, and post production. Given that along with the fact that they are not filmed in order, alot of the Non-mustache eps could have been filmed first or portions of them and then the rest filmed later.

So in one ep he doesn't have a mustache and the next just goes to prove that they were filmed at different times. As with the beard for William, it could be the same or similar to that. Course there is also the fact that with makeup they can fill in beards and mustaches until they have actually grown out fully. There are 52 weeks in a year, 24 eps are scheduled for this season, though the average is 22-24 eps per-season.

i wanna c it lol, i dont think gris says "ill miss you" to sara though, i think it may be to them as a whole, or to the lab building when he walks out or something lol.
