    Thank's for sharing this infomation with us, but actually [and I don't know how long you've been on here] but the poll from a ways back had the selection from 3 candidates, and they were John Malkovich and Kurt Russell and Laurence Fishburne and at the time I liked LF but couldn't see him on CSI, [boy have I changed my mind] but I choose Kurt Russell. Ths guy you mentioned was never a choice for this role as Dr. Raymond Langston. Here's an article from then, and the ex.producer Carol Mendelsohn and at the time Naren Shankar, [when he was still a writer on the show] said that "Laurence Fishburne, was at the top of their dream list" and how "he's a powerful & intense actor, with an incredible range":bolian:

    The name Langston, was chosen by LF, it's his son's first name. But anyway those were the 3 guys that were kinda of up for this choice role, but as the article said the one they did choose was the one they wanted.:bolian:

    Oh, ok. I think it fits better anyway...'Santoro' sounds Italian.

    That's kinda like on NY...Mac was named for Gary Sinise's son.

    A thread for Langston....hooow have I not noticed this till now? *Shame on me*

    I adore this man, he's fantastic and I think Langston is awesome. So much so I always find a way to intergrate him in my stories lol :guffaw:

    LOL,:lol: no that's not me it's his real life wife, Gina Torres, who was in S/4 of "XX", as the warden of a womens prison. They met on the set of "The Matrix", have a daughter together, Delilah;)
