Anthony Zuiker the creator of CSI was honored by the Nevada Entertainer/Artist Hall of Fame! other recipents were Rich Little, Nancy Houssels and Tom Scoeman. The four were honored the other day during a ceremony in Artemus Ham Hall on the UNLV campus. TNEAHOF was founded to recognize Nevada residents who have made a significant impact on the arts, including visual and performing arts and architecture. Recipients are given the Sidney Award, named for Academy Award director and Las Vegas resident George Sydney. Few have expierienced the rapid success that Zuiker has encountered in Hollywood. He is the creator of the hit show "CSI" and tow spin-offs. Zuiker graduated from Chaparral High School and worked as a tram operator at the MIRAGE before "CSI"!

WEDDING DETAILS

Guests at the Pamela Anderson-Rick Solomon wedding Saturday included her two sons from he first marriage to Tommy Lee, actors Tobey Maguire, Lukas Haas and Ethan Suplee, and illusionist Hans Kiok. With Anderson in a white Valentino minidress and Salomon in a black suit and black knit skullcap, the newlyweds were declared husband and wife about 9:20 p.m. by Nathan Ward, who officiated the ceremony. The couple's first song was Sade's "By Your Side", from the turntable of DJ Neva of JET Nightclub at The Mirage. The wedding reception was catered by Stack Restaurant where they had dined Friday nite. After dashing back to the Planet Hollywood Resort for the 10:p.m. show, Anderson...after she appeared on stage, informed the audience that she'd just got married. At the end of the show, Planet Hollywood servers began pouring champagne throughout the casino. Anderson and Solomon, accompanied by members of the wedding party, arrived at the Heart Bar about midnight , where she raised a toast in front of a large crowd that ringed at the bar area, which is in the center of the casino. A 4 tiered white cake with pink flowers was passed out to everyone in sight!

PAMELA ANDERSON before launching and landing her gig as a magician's assistant was conserding an over-the-top strip club deal, that had a lot of legs. The Playboy cover icon met with SCORES owner Dennis DeGori 3 years ago to hammer out the details. A source close to the negotiations sad DeGori offered her a percentage in the club and a 10-yr., $1 million contract. In return, the "Baywatch" beauty had to make two-hour visits 4 times a year. During the meeting, which included Andersons pal David LaChapelle. Then Anderson dropped a bombshell. She proposed that the club be named The Burning Bush, and she wanted a suopersized sign of herself in front ...a la Vegas Vic, a 40-foot neon sign. The Anderson plan took a wicked left turn. The sign, she said would be so large that cars could drive between the legs of the sign and it would squirt water on their cars. [TACKY] DeGori had his reservations and eventually she bailed on the whole deal!

Las Vegas entertainment legend Wayne Newton canceled another round of concerts because of pneumonia, according to a published report. he was to perform this weekend at the River Cree Resort & Casino near edmonton, Alberta. He also canceled his scheduled concerts last weekend. Newotn was given the green light to perform "Danke Schoen" on ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" last week,........George Clooney's girlfriend sarah larson has resurfaced in Las Vegas. She's apperaring at tonights reception at Brandy Wood Fashion Collection. The former cocktail server met Clooney during the filming of "Ocean's 13"

Guess who wamdered through the set at 6 am during a shoot o Friday of "What Happens In Vegas".. at Planet Hollywood Resort? As Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher wre setting up a slot machine scene, newlyweds and night owls Pamela Anderson and Rick Solomon walked through, unaware they were in the middle of filming. Minutes earlier, Anderson and Solomon who got married Oct.6 at The Mirage, were spotting playing craps at a nearby table. Cameron and Kutcher are in town for about a week of shooting the big-screen romantic comedy. Several other locations are also involved. Also in the movie are SNL member Jason Sudeikis and Queen Latifah!

Barbra Streisand will head the entertaintment lineup for the Nov. 16-17 grand opening of the Planet Hollywood Resort. Joining her will be political satirist Jon Stewart, Bruce Willis and his 'band', Earth Wind and Fire, Sugar Ray DMC and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. Streisand is a major coup for Planet Hollywood founder Robert Earl, who has been privately promising a shocker. She's become one of the biggest-ticket headliners in the world. Her two day Madison Square Garden engagement in 2000, was billed as her farewell, but she has toured since and apperared in Las Vegas a year ago at the MGM Grand. Stewart, host of the Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" will open the weekend celebration. Earl's entertainment lineup is a strong start towards his vow that that weekend will be one of the biggest openings held in Vegas. He's also promised more than 100 big-name celebrities!
