I first became a grobie after hearing Josh sing on the lighting of the tree in Rockefeller Plaza. My family and I had it turned to channel, but weren't really watching it, and when he came on to sing 'O Holy Night,' we just all stopped talking and listened.
My fav pic is this one.
Anyway, how wonderful was Josh on 'American Idol'? He got visibly choked up singing You Raise Me Up with the African Boys Choir. A press photo from the event:

wow 'American Idol' is ways more different then the game Music Idol in my country. as i understand u guys in US support few humane/charity cause till this game go on - great job. also we don`t have actor/singers guest
anyway... love Josh Groban song in 'American Idol', he was sweet with all this kids around him as i promise here some screencaps from A.I. 25.04.07. like HnM say my fav pic is N. 15 - similar like the one she post from press photo.

I just got to see it. Ellen didn't interview him but she was visibly crying, quite understandably, throughout the entire song (of course, he did 'You Raise Me Up,' again with the African Children's Choir).

Yes it was amazing. I saw some other people around her crying too. The lyrics and the emotion he puts into it, it's easy to see why people love him so much.
I love how when Ellen came up on the stage before commercial one of the kiddies hid behind Josh, and he was trying to talk him back into coming around. Also, Josh had tears in his eyes again when he looked around at the children when they started singing.

How did I totally miss that there was a Josh thread on the CSI board??? (probably because I never came to the miscellaneous one)
I am definitely a Josh fan. My mom and I saw him live on his last tour. My good friend already saw him last month on the new tour. She is so much more of a fan than I am, seeing as she has travelled 3 times now out of state to see him perform. I only saw him when he performed here in town.

Josh is coming to Seattle on August 18th.
I'm not sure of the venue but I think it's either Qwest Field or the Qwest Center (next to it)

*pops in* I had been wondering what genre it is, how he sings, etc, because you guys seem to love him I listened to a song on YouTube (Don't Give Up, You Are Loved), I really like his voice, he's such a talented singer. I also love the lyrics of the song, very well done.
I have to admit that this genre is not my cup of coffee, but it was great to hear that song
