Jorja/Sara: A Passionate Heart #6

It's such a relief to have her coming back. I stopped watching the show when she left, it seemed like everything changed.
I haven't read much about it recently, but does anyone know why she left? Was it because of money or something?
 
She repeatedly stated it had nothing to to with money, although that is what some people believe to this day. She said she needed a break, after being on tv for basically 13 years in a row. She was on ER, then went straight to the West Wing and then did CSI for 8 years. She said she wanted to travel and she thought about going back to college and she thought about being a mama, but mostly she just needed a little time off to do whatever she wanted.

And as she said in her most recent interview, around March she was itching to work again, and while filming a guest spot on another show, she got a call about csi and agreed to come back.
 
Thanks kc it makes sense to want a break after being the most beautiful and talented person on television :D :lol: I'm just glad she was passionate enough about her job to want to return to it after that break.
Also glad they hadn't killed her off, it would've made coming back a bit more difficult :lol:
 
Plus these CSI people she worked with for 9 years are her real life friends, and who doesn't like to hang out with their buds? she's also stated that "My heart belongs to CSI" I wasn't there, and don't know Jorja, nor know what really went down, but do know the character Sara & it look's like she's a happy camper right now so everything is good:

I just got my new TV Guide and here's a tid-bit about Jorja~

For CSI fans, it was like hitting the jackpot when news broke that Jorja Fox will be rejoining the lab pack as Sara Sidle for at least 5 episodes next season-but what will viewers think when they see Grissom's main squeeze in a orange jumpsuit and cuffs for a guest stint on Drop Dead Diva? "I hope you are going to be rooting for me", says Fox, who describes her character as "a suburban housewife who's in deep hot water", Fox tells TV Guide, she "loved" being on the other side of the judicial system for a change: "It was really fun to play somebody in prison, it was a complete departure for me, as was the suburban housewife--I hope I pulled that off"! And as for heading back to Las Vegas? She's staying mum on what it means for her character and Gil, but hints that there are answers about her return to be found in the season premiere Sept. 24. "I think all I can really say [pause] is the team had a rough year. There has been alot going on and Sara comes back mostly just to see if she can help out for a while, because she loves those guys and she misses them" Right back atcha!

Nanigsr, it was just speculated that it won't air next week, because she wasn't in the promos, but LifeTime was emailed, and she is in the episode, it's just there are 2 or 3 other storylines besides hers, and the promo department just didn't put her in the promo/trailer for next weeks episode.

I could really care less about her one spot "guest" appearance on this lame show, I'm sure she's had many other offers, she's a stunning actress, and maybe just killing time, to decide what to do next~ then CSI called her, and She's back WHO0PEE
