Of course, if I came I'd probably set up permanent residence on Top's futon. (I'm assuming you have a futon--if not, get one! :p) Once I'm in LA, I'm not leaving. :lol: Wonder if TPTB would hire my crazy ass? :p

But really, I hope you guys have a great time. :) Meanwhile, I'll just be watching NY and hosting the BC chat. :p (Which is still awesomely slashy and porny, by the way, even if it's not hanging with teh mods. ;))
 
Yeah, Rhonda, we can start in a couple of weeks and drive all the way over. Do you think my boss would notice if I didn't show up to work for a few days? I did have scarlet fever once and that kept me away for a week... I wonder if I could convincingly reproduce the ailment...**scurries off to webmd**

Yep Fay, I'll rent the van. I'll bring the portable DVD player too. It has 2 screens so there will be no fighting. How many times can we watch Seasons 1 & 2 of NY on that trip. :p

Thanks for vouching for us. :D In all honesty, I'm pretty impressed with this group. I think Carmine's got some cool fans. The people I've met have all been exactly as they hold themselves out to be on the board. Top, Thumpy, messinwithmesser and even jkladis all get my seal of approval. Very cool people on and off the board.

Springmoon - Did I see mention of a trip to Sacramento? :eek: Though I'll be in LA for a few days around the 15th, you do know where I live, don't you? Sadly, Sacramento. :lol: Would love to meet for lunch/dinner/coffee/drinks/whatever if you've got time while you're here.

Nov. 15 seems like its going to take FOREVER!

File when I get my license you & I are gonna take a road trip down to LA to hook up with everyone. We'll talk anyone else from BC who wants to tag along too. We'll need a big sign that reads "Look out. Crazy canucks are coming through!" :lol: It's gonna be crazy.

I envy all those who are going. Seriously, I do :(.
 
Wow I live only about 2.5 hours away up near Bakersfield. I'm going to be going down there to visit a friend but I'm not sure when. Hm... I'll have to ask her if she has heard the band. She has friends in the entertainment industry.
 
This sounds like a fun night! Maybe some serious thought ought to be given to a fan convention or similar? Overseas fans would need plenty of notice though, as visas etc would need to be sorted *sympathises with Kimmy !* :D
 
Okay, I know I've had my share of luck this year but damn, I love it when things like that happen... Meeting people from the board, going to a TV show-related event, chatting about handsome guys... :D I'll be thinking about you girls.

And MrsG , clear your summer schedule (or at least part of it) because you're on my list of people to meet when I get to LA next year! ;)
