It's that time again--Holiday Card Swap!

Yeah, I'll just tell her the truth that I thought it would be interesting to receive international christmas cards (as well as a few from Canada). I'm 22, I lived on my own for school and moved back home last year and have been fighting since to keep my independence, while of course allowing her to cook for me.

(I'm 22 too, and living at home, so I know all-too-well how mothers can be. :p)

I think I figured out how I'm going to do my naughty cards without having to try to shove too much extra stuff into the envelopes (and end up paying more postage, because I'm both lazy and cheap :p). I just went through my list and marked the 'naughty' and the 'nice' recipients (to the best of my ability--if you aren't on here much or we don't really talk much, especially about naughty sorts of things, I might have mis-categorized you as a nice person--but hey, I ain't Santa, it doesn't matter how many times I check my list, people slip through the cracks. :p)

I received my first card today! That was fast, wow..thanks Elsie :D

God, I'm 26, living at my parents (talk about pathetic). Today I just got my first card and my father panicked. He told me if I end up dead, good, but if I just end up half dead, he'll end the job

He was kidding, but still, it made me freak out :p

I have sent mine :D

 I addressed my envolopes one night and then when I saw my friends the day after they said, 'What the hell were you doing last night?' I said I was doing cards and when they asked when I was going to give them them I had to explan I hadn't had time to do theirs  So then I had to explain about this card swap and they hate it when I talk about the forum never mind if I mention CSI! Well they told me that if I die because of something CSI related they wouldn't becoming my funeral [I have great friends ] Anyway I told them the only thing on this forum that may damage me would be Mac/Sinclair images [fay!] but they didn't have a clue what I was on about !

I'm sorry you're getting death threats, but it's nice to know I'm not alone with crazy parents.

My mum knows about my involvment with this forum and the other day I mentioned the swap in passing and it took me a whole 30 minutes to explain that the address were not randomly posted for the world to see  She is still too protective/saftly obsessed!

Cheer up. I'm 43 and still at home, but someone's gotta take care of Mom, who don't drive and at 74, ain't about to learn. I told her I was in the card exchange and would be getting cards from all over the planet. Her response:

"Pick me up a book of Christmas stamps when you go to the post office."

See, we already hosted an online friend from Australia for 3 weeks. Nothing phases her anymore.

^^ That's cool! I had to made a little lie, I told my parents it all begun with a young girl customer at the golf course I used to work on, Frienship evolved in internet and ended up making some of her friends, cause she travels a lot :p

My parents are really old fashioned, and my sister is always hitting guys online, so they aren't pretty good friends with internet at all.

Yay! That is fast indeed. :D

I don't have any problems with receiving cards from across the world. My husband knows about it, and because he knows how much time I spend on here he isn't surprised that I am happy to give out my address. Plus I'm moving house in two weeks so it won't be my address for much longer. ;)

Ok guys, I just got a PM from CSINYRULZ and she has to drop out of the swap. :( She said that she apologizes if she's inconvenienced anyone, but she just doesn't have the time to participate this year. If you've already sent out her card, it's fine, but if you haven't yet, please don't send one to her.

Aww. :(

Yes, thanks Elsie. Your card was very nice. :D

Anyway, today I finally got my lazy arse out of bed to send out the cards to all of you. :) Sadly, they're all pretty generic, and none of them come with any porn in them. :(

Fay you don't know how much I would laugh if I got Maclaire porn though the post!!
Unfortunately, I think I sent yours out today, so there's no chance to open the envelope and stick some in. Drat. :p

(And there's no 'e' at the end of Sinclair, by the way.)

I am 22, living at home as well, and proud of it.

My parents have no idea I'm doing this card swap thing, LOL. I'll swipe my cards from the mailbox before they even know I'm getting 'em. Hehehe.
